Could be the alternator - did you pull the fuses and check with a test light or meter ?
You can get the wiring diagrams in a Haynes book or on some of the auto parts online stores under repair help.

Parked car running 6 months ago. went to get it no fire also no fuel. tryed the on off on off on key switch to get code and no flashing light. did pull pump and would not work when i applied power so went...

Fuel pump relay is defective. Or inline fuses since it's a 1999 you would not get a code if the pump didn't work. However your connection tot he fuel pump could be bad or the inertia switch could be bad try pushing the reset button to see if it will clear.

1990 Dodge Omni. Runs but shuts down

Check to see that you have good(bright orange) spark to the spark plugs the next time it dies... if not odds are its the coil. If spark is good check fuel pressure, since the pump was replaced if pressure is bad the fuel pressure regulator would be in question.
