you have to know that the flash point of fuel is different
empty your fuel tank like usually and fill her up with new fuel at another gas station
flash point is the temperature where the fuel will ignite without spark. the flash point in summer is low and in autumn or winter is high

What oil to use in a 1994 k1500 z71

i cant be sure but . if you look at your oil refill cap on the valve cover where i think it is. it is written right on the cap as to what the manufactorer says to use..i think it says 5w30. me personally i live where we have pretty good winters.good meaning bad feet not inches. i use 10w30 in the winter you dont want an oil that is to thick when it is cold in the winter.. and in the summer i use 10w40.. and once again, you dont want an oil that will become to thin with summer heat. but the worse part is your oil will break down because of road heat.hence the heavier viscosity in summer

1995 Jeep Cherokee running cold in the winter. Temperature guage is on the first line always. How do I replace a thermostat? Is there a summer and winter thermostat?

No, before changing the thermostat try blocking the radiator by placing cardboard between the grille and radiator. Don't forget to remove it next spring. If that doesn't help, let me know and I will send instructions on how to replace thermostat.

How often do i need to replace my fuel filter?

SIMPLE MAINT SCHEDULE , IS CHANGING IT ONCE A YEAR, but it depends where you live, If this truck is a diesel & you live in a northern climate, change your filter once a year but not until you know for ceretain that you are buying winter grade fuel, ie: nov
Reason for this is that there will be wax/parafin build up in the filter that your ran on the summer fuel, it can congeal in the filter in winter becasue of this build up. If you replace the filter in late autumn, then tat filter will not have a congeal problem because the there hasnt been anything but winter grade fuel through it, , and its safe to run all next summer , but the summers residue will cause problems next winter , so change again in late autumn .

94 Ford 4.0L Thermostat Problem?

Hmmm,

That's a strange problem.
Do your run antifreeze all year round? Or water in the summer and antifreeze in winter/fall?

One suggestion I can make is try replacing the thermostat with one of a lower temp. I believe OEM thermostat's for your truck open at 190 try using one that opens at 165 or so, less heat means less wear and tear. Either way you should not be eating up thermostat's like that.
