There are 2 ways to do this. Remove the right rear seat cushion, and seatback. You will find a lever, that is the manual release for the trunk. If this is broken, use a large suction cup, and remove the taillights. This will provide access to the main battery, and start battery. Using an AGM approved charger, charge the main battery(Left-side-AGM) and start battery (Right-side-regular)

To perform an OBDII Driving cycle do the following:

  1. Cold Start. In order to be classified as a cold start the engine coolant temperature must be below 50°C (122°F) and within 6°C (11°F) of the ambient air temperature at startup. Do not leave the key on prior to the cold start or the heated oxygen sensor diagnostic may not run.
  2. Idle. The engine must be run for two and a half minutes with the air conditioner2_bing.gif on and rear defroster on. The more electrical load you can apply the better. This will test the O2 heater2_bing.gif, Passive Air, Purge "No Flow", Misfire and if closed loop is achieved, Fuel Trim.
  3. Accelerate. Turn off the air conditioner and all the other loads and apply half throttle until 88km/hr (55mph) is reached. During this time the Misfire, Fuel Trim, and Purge Flow diagnostics will be performed.
  4. Hold Steady Speed. Hold a steady speed of 88km/hr (55mph) for 3 minutes. During this time the O2 response, air Intrusive, EGR, Purge, Misfire, and Fuel Trim diagnostics will be performed.
  5. Decelerate. Let off the accelerator2_bing.gif pedal. Do not shift, touch the brake or clutch. It is important to let the vehicle coast along gradually slowing down to 32km/hr (20 mph). During this time the EGR, Purge and Fuel Trim diagnostics will be performed.
  6. Accelerate. Accelerate at 3/4 throttle until 88-96 km/hr (55-60mph). This will perform the same diagnostics as in step 3.
  7. Hold Steady Speed. Hold a steady speed of 88km/hr (55mph) for five minutes. During this time, in addition to the diagnostics performed in step 4, the catalyst monitor diagnostics will be performed. If the catalyst is marginal or the battery has been disconnected, it may take 5 complete driving cycles to determine the state of the catalyst.
  8. Decelerate. This will perform the same diagnostics as in step 5. Again, don't press the clutch or brakes or shift gears.

It means that there is a problem somewhere in your emissions system most likely. Are you having any rough running at all? maybe end of 1st gear right b4 it shifts to 2nd. Could be a misfire if it is running rough at any point, You should get an OBD scan done on it to check what codes it pulls. This will tell you for sure. If you go to the auto parts store they will most likely have 1 they will let you use for free. Once you get the codes if you still cant figure it out come back and I can help you out further. Hope I could be of some help.

You must complete a OBD2 drive cycle, unless you do the kind of driving that satisfies the computer testing you can drive for a year. Go here for the test and how you need to drive to complete the drive cycle.

1 Ensure that fuel filler cap is fully closed (minimum three clicks).

2 Fuel level > 30% and < 85%.

3 Using WDS scanner perform ECM DTC Clear (even if no DTCs are flagged).

4 Drive vehicle for a minimum of 2 minutes, and until engine is at normal operating temperature.

5 Using WDS, ensure that the EVAP Canister Purge Valve is operating by observing "PURGE VAPOR MANAGEMENT VALVE - DUTY CYCLE". If the valve is not

active, ECM adaptions have not been learned. Conduct a "green ECM" Drive Cycle as described in Technical Service Bulletin.

6 Drive vehicle to the road where the EVAP System Drive Cycle will be conducted. Stop vehicle and switch OFF the ignition. Leave ignition OFF for 30 seconds,

then restart the engine.

7 Accelerate briskly to 80 km/h (50 mph) ensuring that the engine speed reaches a minimum of 3500 rpm for a minimum of 5 seconds.


FUEL TANK PRESSURE - VAPOR RECOVERY SYSTEM". Avoiding high engine loads, drive the vehicle steadily between 65 km/h (40 mph) and 100 km/h (60

mph). Avoid driving conditions that will produce excessive fuel movement. WDS should give an indication that the test is active (it may take up to 30 minutes

before the test will initialize). When the test has initialized (EVAP Canister Close Valve CLOSED), it will take approximately 90 seconds for the test to complete.

with respect, if you can afford a Bentley, you can afford to have it serviced. You are not going to be able to fix it yourself as it involves removing the internal panel and working through the holes in the door to find out if the glass has come loose, or whether it is a switch problem inside the door.

To make the car safe short term, have someone lower the window completely and then have a second person hold both sides of the glass with the door open and help the glass rise into the upper track.

What is a drive cycle and how long is it

Generally speaking, the cycle consists of about 50 miles of regular driving that includes stop and go, freeway, and idleing.
You can do an internet search to find out what the recommended trip is for your state testing.
The engine has to be at operating temp and go thru the routine phases of driving for the computer to decide if all of the sensors are working correctly.

Unintended acceleration

You will need to have a test run of the electronic engine controls, if nothing shows test the Throttle Position sensor, closed throttle voltage should be around 1-1.25 volts, while the meter is hooked up and the key on tap on the sensor the volt reading should remain steady, open and close the throttle repeated times, it still should return to 1-1.25 volts closed throttle blade.
