Pug 206 t reg handbrake locks on left hand side rear wheel any ideas how to fix this or how a can cut handbrake cable

sorry friend , but im not an expert. ANYWAY, I SAW YOUR CALL! cutting a hand brake cable is a nonsense and worse, a big danger. This back wheel is permanently sttoped or braked because the spring mechanism that bring them to free wheel is stucked. the springs can no longer pull the braking system to the home position. The solution is disassembly the back wheel drum, clean it , replace the springs ( if the foot brake, an independent system ) is working ok.this is only the basic procedure. Check also if the cable in the back ( divided in two for separate back wheels ) is not "dry" out of lubricating!

ABS stays on a 2001 GMC Jimmy

This is a common issue, and is pretty easy to fix. There are ABS sensors on the wheels, and you have a bad one. Usually the wires become corroded, and are easy to spot. The unit is on the back side of the wheel assembly.

I have a 95 mercury sable and a little while back our abs light came on well the finances werent there at the time to have it checked so now i had to change the complete brake system on the drivers rear....

Your master cylinder (rear) check valve has failed;
(the pressure is not being released when the brake pedal is not pressed and, the brakes stay applied)
replace the whole master cylinder.
As for your ABS clean the ring on the wheel that is "seen" by the sensor clean it too; it looks like and, works like a old phonograph speed ring (the sensor reads the flashes as the wheel turns to assertain the vehicle's speed.)

2004 Buick Rendezvous AWD Light Stays On

Our 2002 did the same thing. Easy cheap fix! Pull the wheel off and check the wiring that goes to the wheel sensor. You will find after removing a few inches of wrap, a broken wire or two. This could be on either wheel, so check both. Fix the wires back up and you are good to go. Hope this helps!
