The 5.7 is telling you it is a 350 cid engine block. The other number is a part number for the block. If you look real close you should see a couple of dials on the casting that tells you the time and date of manufacturing. Mexico blocks are just as good as any of them the foundry process is the same to pour the block.

Yes it is a Goodwrench replacement engine, I assume a 350 V8
