SOURCE: 2003 SL Nissan Murano 150,000 miles. After driving

most likely it is the transfer case leaking. known problem on the AWD models. they leak right down on the exhaust and causes the burning smell. have it checked out again.

SOURCE: 2005 nissan murano sl, with rattling sound when accelerating

I recently experienced the same symptom with my '05 Murano and it was not a fuel problem. The dealer listed the cause as dry axle splines and replaced both front drive shaft assy's. Note that this was done as warranty with no cost incurred by me.

SOURCE: how to turn off oil change light\r\nfor nissan

Nissan/Infiniti
Owners of many late-model Nissan and Infiniti vehicles have the unique privilege of actually setting the interval at which they would like to be alerted about changing oil. To do so:
1. Push the "MAINT" button on the main menu.
2. Select "Engine Oil" and push Enter.
3. Select "Maintenance Schedule" and push joystick right or left to select desired mileage.
4. To reset maintenance interval, select "Reset" and push Enter.
To reset the maintenance reminder, follow this procedure:
1. Push the "MAINT" button for more than 1.5 seconds.

SOURCE: I have no power to

(Assuming the lights/battery are good), First, try a different remote/key. Your remote may be bad.
If the problem is your remote, get a new one ASAP, since you have to have a working one that the computer recognizes in order to train it to recognize a new one. Otherwise you have to replace the entire computer module ($$$).

If the other remote does not help, try disconnecting the ground cable on the battery for a minute or two, then reconnect it. If that fixes it, talk to your dealer. My 2005 Chrysler T&C had a similar problem, the door locks are always powered, but the computer monitors how much current they draw. If it is too high, the computer disables them to save the battery. In my case, the current limit was too low, the computer had to be reprogrammed by the dealer.

Replaced both front wheel brg/hub assy's on a 09 Nissan Murano but I still have a rotational growl sound coming from the front end. vibration felt thru front floors on drvr&psngr sides? Any ideas?

possible problem cv joints or drive shafts
check with a drive line specialist shop as some manufacturers fit a balance to the shafts to stop vibration
have them check the cv joints while you are there

How do i replace a nissan murano stepper motor?

The stepper motor is not replaceable on this auto. The ECM and crank sensor controll the idle process for this Nissan. First change your crank position sensor you know the cars computer is ok. This is where i would start. Once this has been accomplished if this did not fix your problem.please return and ask me for me and i will go threw the Idle Air Relearning Process with you. I REPEAT DO NOT DO A RELEARN PROCESS WITH THIS FAULTY CRANK SENSOR ENGINE CAN RACE OUT OF CONTROL DAMAGING YOUR ENGINE AND FRYING YOUR ECM WITH OVER VOLTAGE> Your crank sensor is picking up the wrong signals telling the engine it is rotating at a completely different RPM is what is wrong and that is the reason for the radical RPM and transmission shifts. THe trans is programmed to shift at certain RPMs but it cant change right because the crank sensor it telling it it is at 1100 rpm and its really at 2200 rpm. it is simple computer network failure. Change this and get back to me if you have any other questions

2006 Nissan Murano disconnected battery now the idle is messed up

Well it sounds like your mass airflow sensor is out the best thing to do is to take it to the auto parts store and they will read any codes it might have on it and most mainstreem auto parts stores do it for free. That or it could be the o2 sensor or plugs with out being there I'll have to cover all the bases
