My info only showed one crank sensor located at/by the crankshaft pulley. Maybe your code meant circuit B instead of sensor B?

The crank sensor is located behind the harmonic balancer on the front of the crankshaft.

I would like to know the Location of the P0036 on a 2005 Chevy Impala LS. Motor: 3800. Also how to replace it.


P0036....HO2S Heater Control Circuit (Bank 1 Sensor 2)
location is Bank 1 is on the side of number 1 cylinder. Sensor 1 is on the exhaust manifold. i would change the oxygen sensor on the exhaust manifold i believe thats the one closes to the front of the car with the hood up. good luck

Were is the crank sensor located at on 2006 impala


Usually ,& depending on engine, is located on the rear side of the engine block behindthe crankshaft balancer. Good luck!

2002 Chevy Impala Sensor # 3


You didn't give the engine size, so I'll give what my manual shows.
The 3.4L engine----- 2nd one in from the left, in back of the engine.
The 3.8L engine------2nd one in from the left, in front of the engine.
