I have no clutch opel astra 1.8 car won't go even in gear


The last couple manual shifts I had used hydraulic clutch which used brake fluid. Some have a clutch reservoir you have to put oil in some has a line coming out of the break reservoir. If it is low and you add fluid to it you may have air in the line. If air in line you need to bleed the line to the slave cylinder of air. I have never had you kind of car but these are the first thing I check with mine.

Do you need to take the whole engine out in order to get to the clutch plate on an opel astra estate1.6i?


no no just the gearbox and one cv joint just put a jack under the engine and lift it a little so that you dont damage the engine mountains

Please could you help me out with the big ends, mains and flywheel torque settings for a 1995 opel astra 160ie


Main bearings stage 1 50nm stage 2 45 deg to 60 deg no flywheel info except clutch to flywheel 15nm hope it helps

HI Guys. I have an Opel Astra 2.2 GSI, the car vibrates when idling and driving. Is it possible that it can have anything to do with the flywheel.


motormounts may b worn or car needs tuneup-change plug wires--coil--distributer cap........causing misfiring---cud hav an injector issue tu doing the same thing---------
