Your vehicle is 18 years old, there are bound to be problems with it now. Decide if you want to keep spending money on an old vehicle or try to find a new one that is in good condition.

Yes, that's a GREAT idea! Ignore it ... just like some people IGNORE a BRAKE FAILURE warning light! That way, you can meet your Maker much sooner, and possibly take some others with you!

I would like to reset or disconnect my check engine line on 1999 chevy blazer. The vehicle runs fine and I don't want to pay for it. How can I do this ?

The check engine light is there to tell you that someting is wrong.
Yes the car "seems" to run fine, yet is most likely using more gas, and if you ignore this to long can cause a lot of harm and a lot of $$$.
Have it fixed at some point soon.
And you can't disconnect it.

1999 malibu no heat change thermo flushed rad blew out heatercore line hoses are hot get heat for a few min then goes cold air works fine

Chk for a vacuum controlled heater valve in the system. Usually on a hose. When the engine is not running it is open, but as soon as you start the engine, it closes and soon after the coolant in the core is stationary and cools down. GoodLuck _Ned_

1999 Toyota Camry check engine and trac lights on

I would ignore the problem until something else happens and the car is not running right. A lot of the time it could be a bad sensor or computer. I would say the same thing to my customers as your mechanic.

the transmittion doesn't have a dipstick. you need to go under the car on the back end of the transmittion and remove a fill plug, like you would on a rear end of a rear wheel drive car. i was always told if its not leaking your all set. its a sealed transmittion.
