MY DIESEL PULLS OVER RIGHT AND LEFT ON EVEN SMOOTH ROADS,changed tyres but still does it, any clues why

Car pulls left


this could be down to tracking or incorect tyre presures and even a bineding brake on the left side have these things checked at your local tyre shop

Only got 11k miles out of rear tires, never did burn out. Help


your camber (the vertical line down the tyres if look from directly behind it) is out. the tyres at the top are leaning into each other and causing the insides of your tyres to bear the brunt of the roads wear. this type of set up is good for grip while racing but as you see it eats them up quick if your not forever putting sideways force on them. the camber may have gone by taking a speed hump too fast, badly corrugated roads or pot holes at speed. take it into a tyre store and ask them to do a complete wheel and camber alignment to both axles. and ask them to check tyre balances too while your at it. even after a few ks uneven tyre wear quickly becomes out of balance. also go back to the store that sold you those tyres and ask them why they did not pick up this issue with your last set of tyres. because it does not sound like this issue happened Immeadiately after you installed fresh rubber.

Steering pulls left


Tyre pressure, wheel alignment,front wheel bearings, brakes binding, tyre wear, uneven brake pad wear and last, could even be a damaged CV joint

I own a Peugeot 407 CBU high spec model, year 2005. When i make a slow right or left turn, the front tyres seemed jerky and the steering wheel vibrates. it feels like the timing is very low. My mechanic...


i would hazard a guess and say its the electric power steering pump ,best advice is too leave well alone as it will cost a lot of money to put right and its not dangerous or anything just a bit of wear on a valve .

Steering pulls to left when accelerating when gets to required speed then pulls to the right


Your car needs a front wheel alighnment.When it pulls under acceleration and then goes the other way,get an alighnment.Torque pulls the wheels one way and then the travelling pulls it the other.Hope this helps

I have a 98 millenia with front end problems. It makes popping noises while driving on rough roads and some smooth roads. It sounds like the front end about to come out of it. I've already changed the left...


sounds as though the rubber bushings (there are two of them L/R side on the stabilizer bar) could be the issue. When the bushing are loose they allow the stabilizer bar to bump against the steering or rack and pinon.

The car, no matter what speed, will **** real hard right to left like something in the front end suspension is broke


couple possibilites.

Contol arm ball joint
tie rod ball joint
(really low air pressure in tire (unlikely))

pretty well all the options... ball joints are "fun" to relace... usually involves a big hammer! :-)

It is normal, if you're using low profile tyres or having too high tyre pressure. Observe the manual.

My 99 Nissan Altima front wheels make noise when driving on roads that are not smooth. I don't like the sound. It also make a loud noise when I'm speeding on the highway. What do I do?


Hello There

Have you checked to see you have the right tyre pressure. The only solution to your problem is new tyres with softer compound. A tyre that is made for both wintre and summer. The dry or summer tyres have a harder compund and make more noise on the road.

Are my tires causing my car to swerve and follow the cracks?


Usually caused by unusually wide tyres/wheels. This is called in the UK 'tramlining' and is nothing to worry about though can be disconcerting. Owing to the increased width of Z3 spec. tyres over standard tyres there is more of a tendency to follow abrupt changes in the road surface. Keep those hands at 'Ten to Two' on the steering wheel.
