Your air conditioner clutch plate might be worn. Fixed my volvo when the air con ran for about 10 minutes then stopped by using cable ties. You can google volvo air conditioning fix with cable tie to find a few ways to do it. Here is a youtube clip too. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F9x6TePYs60

SOURCE: 2004 escalade ac problem

I had the same problem. Took it to an AC guy and they told me it was going to cost $1,400 to replace all kinds of parts. I didn't get it done right away because I went on vacation. When I got back from vacation the air blows cold. It hasn't gone back to blowing hot since.

Ac blowing hot air tried to recharge but compressor would not take charge, gage needle went to yellow could over charge stop compressor 00linc ls v8

in this particular problem firstly you have to analyse the power ampere of ac because sometimes power not flows properly and due to this ac compressor cant work properly because they cant get their requirement power . secondly you can check gas in compressor because sometimes due to tiny wholes gas gets released and it causes in hot air blowing

How do I fix no heat in my truck?

Most likely cause it the hot air control valve. This is often found in the engine compartment, but sometimes mounted on the AC unit.
Open the hood and follow the thinner of the hot water hoses, two of them should go into the firewall. Check if one on them has a metal valve in it. This will be the hot water control. Remove it and see if there are any blockages.

Why when I start my car is there an odor coming from vents that smells like something is burning, and my Air Conditioner still blows, but it only blows out hot air. 2008 Chrysler Sebring. Help?

have an accredited ac shop as an ac cannot produce hot air only cold air so that means that the ac is not working (leaks low on gas etc). The hot air is from the heater in the car and the smell is probably wire overheating or the resistors are burning.

Sometimes I can hear my A/C working but no air is blowing. When my AC does work, it is very loud. Today when I cranked my engine, my AC was abnormally loud in trying to produce air, then the car shut off...

Some problems are beyond fixya. You need a good auto air conditioning shop. Noisy when cabin air conditioning is
turned could be warning of compressor failure, that could leave you stranded. Get it checked out.

I have a 2003 chevy trailblazer, and when i turn on the ac it works fine as im driving, but when i stop the air turns hot and the car trembles and sometimes dies.

The first thing you need to do is clean the throttle body. This area of the air intake gets dirty and gummed up and prevents proper air passage. While the cleaning is taking place, make sure the battery is disconnected so that the computer will be reset and be able to relearn with a clean air intake.
Next, you need to have the AC refrigerant checked, it may low. OR, the low idle speed because of dirty throttle body just does not allow the compressor to produce enough pressure.

THE AC IN MY CAR IS BLOWING HOT AIR AND SOMETIMES COLD BUT THE AC DOESN'T STAY ON. THE FREON IS FINE SO WAT ELSE COULD IT BE

have the gas removed and wieghed and regassed by weight ,if problem persists then it could be a compressor problem like its not producing enough pressure

A/C air sometimes cold, sometimes not on VW Beetle 2001 Turbo

AC will not work with temps are cold even when it is turned on. The air is colder cause the temp is colder. The AC cycles in hot weather because the AC charge is low and needs recharging. You will know this if you open the hood run the AC and you will hear the clicking sound of the AC compressor magnetic clutch. You can recharge it easily buy buying a compatible can of refrigerant. I suggest buying the kit with the gage so you don't overcharge the system which will cause freeze ups
