I think i might have conected some injector pipes wrong on my ADE 442 motor. i need the firing order of the injector pump

pump maybe sucking air, ergo empty tank? no seriously that could be the regulator and may need check and/or replacement. I am not very familiar with the Holden clones that gm makes here, but most vehicles still use many of the same systems to run the engine.

SOURCE: Motor turns over but won't fire. Had a new starter

spray a small amount of starting fluid in the air intake while turning it over, if it fires, it's not getting fuel.

I asked about NISSAN terrano TD27,the question is how do you connect the diesel pipes from injector pump on to injector nozzles when pump is already on the engine?

if you have 4 or six metal lines , then they will be bent to exactly the right shape for the firing order
offer them up to the nozzle of the pump and they will fit neatly to the injector if correct
keep going until they all fit exactly
do not bend any to fit as that will cause problems with the fuel flow and make the timing wrong

How to replace fuel pump on a dodge ram

In order to replace the fuel pump on a dodge ram follow the instructions below

The fuel pump on this vehicle is electric so check all fuses and relays to ensure this isnt whats causing you the problem as it is quite a big job to change the fuel pump.

1. Make sure you purchase the correct fuel pump as their are different size and shapes depending on ago of vehicle, model of vehicle and engine size the type of pump will vary so make sure you buy correct type.

2. you now need to relieve the fuel system of pressure you can do this by removing the pipe that goes to the injectors put a bit of rag over it to stop it spraying any where, their wont be loads come out its just pressurized.
Also undo the negative lead from the battery.

3. you now need to drain and disconnect the fuel tank ie undo the pipes coming from the tank be careful of the filler hose this will also need undoing.
Remove the fuel pumps electrical connector and remove the fuel lines connected to the tank.
You should now be able to remove the tank

4. You can now get to the fuel pump, you need to remove the lock nut holding the fuel pump in place turning the nut anti clockwise.
Discard the o-ring between the pump and the tank.

5. Now your ready to fit the new pump, fit the pump using everything in the kit and make sure you use the new o-ring.
You must make sure that the allignment tab that sits under the fuel pump fits correctly into the notch cut into the tank.

6. Tighten the locking nut to 40in lbs.

The refit everything in reverse order. When your ready to start the engine it may take a few turns for the air to come out of the system, if needed you could leave the fuel pipe off the injectors and switch the ignition on making sure the pipe is in a bottle so you done get fuel every where, once you have fuel coming out refit the injector pipe and now you should have no problems starting the engine.

You are doing this work at your own risk, its not the easiest of jobs to do and is time consuming on a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being the hardest i would say the job is about 3.

If you are unsure what you are doing or dont have the correct tools then leave it to an expert.


Make sure the tank is empty as it can be really heavy if the tanks has fuel in.

How do I find out why my fuel makes it to tank is straitht wired to injectors but it wont start,that is why we think it could be a sensor.

Your tank cannot be wired to the injectors. The fuel must come through a pipe, not a wire. If it is a diesel, the fuel must go from the tank to the fuel pump, from the fuel (header) pump to the injector pump, from the injector pump to the injectors
It might be a common rail engine, in which case the fuel will go to the pressure pump and from there to the common rail which is connected by pipes to the injectors, The injectors will then be "fired" by the ECM unit. If this is the case, and you suspect a sensor, there are two or more sensors. The first one is the crank angle sensor mounted somewhere near the flywheel, and the other is the cam angle sensor (or two), mounted somewhere on the front of the engine, near the camshaft.

How to bleed injector pump on isuzu nkr pick up

These are self bleeding so if diesel is getting to the pump it won't need bleeding. If you still feel the need to bleed the system then loosen one injector pipe turn the engine until you see diesel coming tighten again it should fire up. If you have a good flow of diesel coming from the filter to the pump and diesel at the injector pipe then your pump pressure may be low. To check remove any injector reconnect the pipe to it with the injector end where you can see it. Turn the engine with the starter a few times the diesel should be making a mist. Wear eye protection for this test

Hi, I need some help please! I have a peugeot 406 2.1 td p reg. I've had to put a 1.9 bosh pump on it to bipass the imobiliser. does any one know what order the injection pipes go in. cheers ale

Hi Alex, The firing order is 1-3-4-2. When fitting the injector pump I hope you noticed the match marks for timing. When fitted and aligned the engine will be at TDC firing on one. To identify # 1 on the pump, connect the fuel supply and bleed air from the system and rotate the engine one and three quarter revolutions by hand, having someone watch which outlet ejects fuel when passing TDC completing the second rotation. That will indicate number one piston. Follow the firing order for the remaining three. Regards John

How do i bleed the diesel on a 1990 isuzu rodeo jb1 4wd

1990 its an injector pump ,two bleed screws on the in jector pump,but it might have a auto bleed pipe,think it has so prime it with the hand pump then slacken the injector pipes on the injectors and assistant cranks ,never no more than 20secs so as not to overheat the motor ,then as one or the other shows fuel pumping up tighten it as you get to 2 or more it will start

Put new plug wires on my eclipse now it runs crappy

You may have your plug wires in the wrong order.
The firing order is 1-3-4-2 om cpounter-clockwise rotation. Look at the digram below. Notice the shaded blue is cylinder 1. From there, make sure 3 is the next wire, then 4 and finally 2.
