Hey Ron,
AN internal combustion engine requires three (3) things to run...assuming the internals are good.
1. Adequate compression >120PSI
2. A properly timed spark
3. A proper fuel/air ratio
Start with one, and eliminate one at a time(make sure it works) - ..(this is the way a professional would trouble shoot an engine).
If your other blinkers work ,it's not the flasher . Probably a wring problem or the bulb . Find a wiring diagram at www.bbbind.com an trouble shoot the circuit . Look at you tube , there are a lot of basic electric trouble shooting videos , an a few on reading wiring diagrams .
Do you get any action when you turn the key? A click?
Check battery. Dead battery is the first thing to check for. Headlights come on full brightness? Try jumping it?
If shifter won't move, what is it stuck in? If auto, stuck in "park" may simply be that the parking brake is holding tension against the parking gear's workings. If stick, similar, but pressing clutch should clear.
