I have an isuzu LX 320; the The 3 pistons on the passenger side are working; but those on the(drivers side} do not seem to be working; though all spark plugs are firing. What can be the problem?

no year car, stated, nor engine. nor country
welcome to USA forum, its best to state that and engine there.
its sure is V6, but which one???? some many made,
my guess is you have no timing light to seem that BANK fire wrong? "timing"?
that be like first trick out of the bag.
are you down under? (as in the land down under )
or africa, ?
Isuzu Frontier LX 320 V6 or
Isuzu KB 320 LX 4x2 P/U D/C
we dont have either of those 2 cars. or trucks. in the U.S.A.
nada, no cars, no books nothing. like that.
but some of our old 2004 and older have V6s
they dont see cars here now. they bugged out long ago.

id say the 3 pistons on that bank did not die.
but if the spark is hot on the dead bank then the coil pack is ok
if wired correctly , did you mess with that coil pack>?
if timed wrong then the cam belt slipped.

that is my wild guess, on a car never seen here.
next time man, up and say year, and country.
and if really savvy DISPLACEMENT of that V6

My 2002 Monte Carlo a/c compressor has no power fuse are good but relay only has power on one leg. What do I need to do to get my 2 hot legs and grounds?

The ground on a compressor is usually the body of the compressor itself, which is then earthed to the engine. The supply to the relay coil should be at 12 volt DC or whatever voltage your car is. When the aircon is turned on, the coil should retract the contacts in the relay. The contacts are the on / off for the compressor magnetic pulley. The other side of the relay coil is to earth (Body of the car.) If there is power on one side but not on the other side of the relay contact, it means the relay is shot. If you connect wires from both sides of the relay, the compressor should engage. ( DO NOT join the coil wires, it will be a dead short! Join the supply wires for the compressor.

Mondeo tdci 130

there are numerous examples of fords with out ac but to be precise you will have to give the year and engine type. Quicker if you contact that ford dealer with this information as the spare parts department will have a belt if it is applicable. Remember that if the ac pulley is still free to turn then all you have to do is disconnect the wire to the compressor clutch behind the pulley and it becomes just an idler pulley

Ac fuse blowing, in 1996 isuzu rodeo

Disconnect wire to Air Conditioning Compressor and connect normal test light to wire, from engine harness(body)side. Fit new fuse and try air cond controls and switch, test light should light up and hopefully fuse wont blow indicating short in compressor clutch windings(replace compressor). If fuse blows while doing this test compressor might be ok and fault short some where else, fan speed resistor block, fan or control/switches, wiring.

The clutches on the compressor are not engaging. System was refilled and dye checked last fall. Fuses checked out. Fan works but only blows warm/hot air.

with the filter drier in your aircon system there is a sensor, disconnect the connector and put a jumper wire to connect the 2 wires. if the clutch engage check if the aircon works, if does you need to replace that sensor. if not and your freon gas is full then there is a clog in your system.

I own a nissan pulsar 2001 LX & the air con swith dosn't work on 1,2,3 & on 4 the fan blows the air in full force. I'm in the process of selling & need to fix it asap & as cheap as poss. hopfully it's a...

A cheap and nasty way to make it work is to by pass pressure switch in the engine bay, your aircon has shut itself down to protect itself.the switch thats responsible for that is either on the air con compressor with two wires plugged into it or close to the reciever/drier, join the wires together and the air con switch and associated parts will work again. This is a short term fix as the switch is there to tell you that the aircon pressure is too low and ultimately it will need recharging.

No air

You may have to get aircon recharged as pressure regulator switch on aircon pump is not allowing use of pump to protect itself.easy test is to take the two wires off the switch and join them if the air con pump works you will need to recharge.Do not leave hooked up as pump will eventualy sieze.

Where is the water pump located on a 97 Mountaineer? And how hard are they to change? I think mine went out. I noticed water dripping under the motor for a while, and my Mountie started running hotter one day but then it stopped doing it, but my AC would blow hot and cold, then yesterday, it ran hot and we refilled it (was nearly empty but the radiator wasn't super hot and we were able to take the cap off) but afterwards, the battery light started flickering and the battery gauge dropped and the power steering went crazy, and I suspect it's my water pump. Where should I look to confirm a water pump leak? Edit: This is what happened yesterday. It's more linear so maybe it makes more sense to help figure this out. -My Mountie temp gauge was nearly to the red, so I popped the hood. I squeezed the top hose going into the radiator and it wasn't hard so I felt the radiator cap and it wasn't really hot so I started it up and had Al (my son) help me remove the cap. The radiator was nearly dry so we added antifreeze and water (about 3 gallons) and the temp dropped back down on the gauge, but when I drove again it was leaking enough water to cover Alan's windshield behind me, the battery light was flickering, the battery gauge showed low and I had no power steering. When I got it home and we popped the hood (the temp gauge stayed at about 3/4 up til I got home, so I kept driving) it looked like something was spraying antifreeze all over my belts. That's why I'm thinking water pump. Edit;Edit - Kerry Mahoney, my overflow tank is apparently plugged up. The level inside it was fine.
