The water pump can also make the chirping noise. You can place a very long screwdriver or metal rod against the pump & place your ear to the end of it to localize the sound. A stethoscope is very helpful, if possible.
I know there is one under the plastic intake manifold. You will have to remove it to get to the sensor though. I don't know if this one is for temp. gauge or fans or both?
Check the fuse then check the bulbs, and also check the brake light swithch under the steering collum along the brake peddle arm for bad connection or alignment. Good luck.
Sounds like you have a broken wire. Check the wires under the fuse panel under the hood. Its a problem with Chrysler mini vans and it might be the same here.
