Testimonial: "i have had one on a previous hilux but i read a report online that stated he lost power and the fuel economy dropped when it was installed and returned after it was taken off i was thinking that the airflow would be diverted away from the intake scoop"

as the air intake is under the bonnet or at the
end of an air snorkel if is difficult that a small bit of plastic at the front end of the bonnet will divert air flow away from the air intake
true at high speed it may increase the low pressure area at the leading edge of the bonnet as it will increase air speed to get past the deflection of the protector but there would be more turbulence restriction on a vehicle fitted with a protection bar( bull bar) than with a bonnet protector
I an referring of course to the bonnet protector that is flat on the leading edge of the bonnet and not one that stands up around 4-6 " above the bonnet which is not a bonnet protector but a stone and bug deflector for the windscreen

Diesel Filter

it is located under the bonnet at rear of r/h inner wing after fitting new filter you have to bleed the system by drawing fuel up to the filter by using a syringe or similar on the filter outlet pipe stub or on the pipe coming back from the high pressure pump to the filter. DO NOT TRY AND START ENGINE UNTIL THIS HAS BEEN DONE YOU WILL GET AIR IN THE HIGH PRESSURE SIDE.

Can i fit a turbo onto a peugeot 205 1.8 diesel engine?

You can fit a turbo to just about any car, the problems lie in changing the inlet and exhaust manifolds to house the turbo of choice and supplying the turbo with oil and water to cool it, also if the car has a ECU getting it chipped to provide the right amount of fuel at the right time.
To be honest if you want a turbo car it is best to buy one with a turbo already fitted as it will probably cost you less to buy for example a Mitsubishi Colt Turbo (around £1500) than to fit a Garrett Turbo (around £3000 with fitting and manifolds) to your 205. Not to mention that the gearbox, brakes and suspension would need to be upgraded aswell.

Its surely not turbo, its is somewhere a hole or leak in turbo air filter housing or air inlet pipe that is making noises when turbo sucks air. check the air pipes wheather they are fitted correctly. Take a keen look at air hose and close any hole with silver tape check the hose is fitted correctly in Turbo air filter housing (if not then it makes whistling noise when air is being sucked by turbo) . Clean all air filters and then give it a go.

1990 Toyota surf turbo diesel (dosent start)

check air hoses from turbo to air box if any holes it will be sucking in too mutch air and bypassing the airflow meter situated in hose this will cause the fault to occure.
