well! investigate first the type of sparkplugs your truck does works with! and get them! find out where are located on your engine, get the proper tool, and if you can reach them with your hands and sight, take them off and put the brand news, learn how to use the tool before before to change them. I don't know the name of this tool on english.
Your job is to investigate this tool and my work is going to the dictionary . Bye. greetings from Mexico

SOURCE: Spark Plug Replacement
I changed my spark plugs and wires myself two days ago after a quote of around $550 from a local repair shop with welcomed success. It's really high because of the time it takes to do this job. I took my time and did it in about 5 hrs. The answer given for the website is a great source and helped me through a very tedious process. My best advice in addition to that is to have some 1" tape (i used flourescent green for visibility) and a sharpie and mark EVERY STINKING WIRE, HARNESS, PLUGS AND HOSES. Also it helps to make a small diagram of the bolt patterns and varoius lengths and placement of each. I started with numbering the bolts and lettering the wires and harnesses to combat confusion. I hope this helps anyone taking on this hideous task.

Installing New Spark Plug Wires Is Simple, Especially Of One Wire Is Replaced At A Time. Compare The Length Of The Old Wire With The Length Of The New Wire. Replace Each Wire With One Of Equal Length.Make Sure The New Wire Is Fully Attached On The Plug And In The Distributor Or Coil Module.
Spark Plug Wire Replacement Is More Complicated If All The Wires Are Removed At Once. Then You Must Use The Engine Firing Order And Cylinder Numbers To Route Each Wire Correctly.
