95 jeep Cherokee parts interchanges with a 1989 thru 1995 chevy 4x4 silverado

another 350 hydramatic turbo transmission would be the simplest change out . Interchanging with different transmission can become a very costly exercise
MY question is have you had the problem properly diagnosed by an accredited transmission shop or are you just going on the recommendation of a local mechanic that the transmission is shot and you need a new one
From your description it could be servo/solenoid or band and clutch adjustments
Have you had an oil pressure test done , had the oil changed
All that I have suggested can be done in car by an accredited shop

I wonder why so much emphasis is placed on selling Fords and not on the service departments. Ford service departments in every state are in need of Certified Technicians.

To start with , this is not the page to air your ideas . You should be doing that directly to customer service at the Ford head quarters
Next it is a matter of profit
The idea is to sell cars -not repair them ---Spare parts are only readily available on cars up to 4 years old
Services are mostly check and flick services and that only requires trained "monkeys" on the lowest pay rate possible and get as many service through per hour as possible
Just like a lawyer costs , it is called billable hours
Any major repairs is sent out to contracted workshops and done at a warranty price which is very low
However the good news is that you can have your ford serviced by any accredited service shop ( Must be accredited by Ford) and it will not void your warranty
Some shops will be even cheaper than the service dealer and will still be able to stamp the service book

Can someone in SG recommend me a good mechanic to fix my Murano stiff steering wheel

I would recommend that you find an accredited steering specialist shop rather than try to find a general mechanic as good well trained mechanics are hard to find.

How to turn up Pump on Toyota diesel 2.2

This is a specialist procedure performed by properly trained diesel shops. If the pump needs recalibrating, then it may be that the injectors need attention or the pump needs repairs. Check that the fuel filter/s are clean. If the engine is chip controlled then it can be achieved by a chip change but this should only be done by an accredited shop with the equipment necessary to check power output and fuel consumption or else costly engine damage will result.

How to replace seals in a brake master cylinder?

unless you are qualified to do this then get a new one . Mostly the cost of parts and the risk of master cylinder failure at a bad time will be marginally less than a new unit ready to install.. Check with an accredited brake shop for the costs.

Clicking type sound coming from front left (tire), only hear it when i am driving and gets LOUD, tires are new and do not hear this sound from engine. I was told that a CV(?) joint was bad. I need this...

Short distances become long distances as the defect is ignored every day . It will take less than 2 hours in an accredited work shop to replace the CV joints but if you let it go for what ever reason the cost and time off the road will be very much greater.. This matter must be fixed asap
