I know my clutch needs fixed. I'm just not sure what needs fixed. Master cylinder, slave cylinder, or pressure plate. It acts like it wants to ingage while sitting still with the clutch depress.

First check to make sure master cylinder and slave cylinder are not leaking, to do this you will have to pull back the rubber boot on the push -rods, they should be dry, no brake fluid present.

If they are good, check stroke length of slave cylinder is getting full travel.

If that's good it's interal, worn clutch and pressure plate, collapsed thow-out or spigot bearing...

Cylinder 6 is misfiring. What was will fix this problem? It's a 5.7L v8 in a Chevy 1500.

You don't say what year the truck is, so I will guess on the fuel system.
You need spark, fuel, and compression for the cylinder to produce power. One of the three is missing.
If the engine has multi-port fuel injection the injector for that cylinder could have failed.
Could also be a plug, plug wire, or something mechanical.

My 1994 Nissan Altima's clutch is leaking fluid and the clutch goes all the way down to the floor, it will not go into gear

The solution is pretty cut-and-dry. Fix the fluid leak and your transmission will go into gear. I don't know what to tell you to fix exactly because I do not know where it is leaking from. If it is leaking from the slave cylinder, replace the slave cylinder; If it is leaking from the master cylinder, replace the master cylinder, etc.

Fixing just one part of the clutch may not be the best option for you however. Clutch parts seem to wear out all within a few thousand miles of one-another. Depending on how many miles are on your vehicle you may want to do a complete clutch replacement so you won't have any further clutch problems for several years.

YOUR WARRANTY SHOULD FIX IT. SHOULDNT HAVE TO FIX YOUR SELF.POSSIBLE CAUSE CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER FLUID LEVEL.IF LOW CHECK MASTER CYLINDER SLAVE CYLINDER LINES FOR LEAKS FIX AND BLEED CLUTCH HYDRALIC SYSTEM.IF CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER FLUID LEVEL OKAY.THE CLUTCH DRIVEN DISC PRESSURE PLATE NEED ADJUSTMENT.I WOULD LET YOUR FACTORY WARRANTY FIX IT.YOU SHOULDNT HAVE TO PAY ANYTHING.JUST MAKE SURE FLUID IN CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER NOT LOW WHEN YOU TAKE IT TO DEALERSHIP.IF THEY CHECK IT OUT FIND ANY KIND NEGLECT TO VECHICLE.THEY WILL NOT PAY.THEY WILL FIX BUT YOU WILL PAY OUT OF POCKET EXPENSE.

No, you don't need to replace the clutch itself.
Don't be surprised if the slave cylinder replacement doesn't fix it.
Could be the master cylinder.

As I stated, I've seen this issue personally over 50 times on escorts, and your cylinder head is dead. I knew you would have almost zero, or zero compression on at least 1 cylinder. Your valve seats on that cylinder have broken out of your cylinder head, and have dropped the metal shavings on to your piston. Therefore, your valve cannot seat on the cylinder head (it's a wide open hole), and you have no compression on that cylinder.

"You can fix this engine" if you have the time, and want to drop a few hundred dollars on parts. You do not have to remove the engine to fix it, all parts are accessible while the engine is in the vehicle.

You will need a new ($1000.00 or more), or used ($100.00 at a junk yard) cylinder head. I personally would also replace the piston on that cylinder, but I've seen it done without replacing the piston as well.

If you choose to fix this engine, I will guide you through the process, just post another comment, and we'll go from there.

First try a graphite spray in the cylinder, available at most auto parts stores. This may fix a sticky cylinder without having to remove the old one. Keep me posted. Good luck

Running on 5 cylinders and needs new coil

If the cylinder is not working because of spark a coil may solve the problem. If the cylinder is not working because of compression, it may be a bad valve intake or exhaust bad piston rings etc. A guide to go by is when you check the compression with a compression guage. The difference shouldn't be more than 10 psi between each. Good Luck
