Gears are in the wrong order after manual shifter cables replacement

Did you make sure the gear stick was in the same position when you fixed the new parts and parts are tight enough.
Or take cover off gear stick in car where it goes into the selector and reset the gears from there.

My 1995 nissan still isnt fixed. has been cutting off while driving down the road. have replaced many parts and nothing has worked. HELP

Whether you or a repair shop replaced any number
of parts, there is one thing that is clear

The vehicles problems or issues have never been
properly diagnosed to see what is wrong with some
area of some system

What has happened is that parts were installed due to
either going to the wrong shop or who ever worked on it
simple desn't have the knowledge & abiltiy to use the
necessary test equipment

Long story short
Common Sense
Find a problem first
Them prove out what you found

Only after a parts fails a test does it get replaced

With that info you can see no one has even started
on diagnosing much in order to help you or your car

Money possibly wasted so far

This has been a growing problem for over 20

I changed the plugs and wires and now it wont start

either you messed up the firing order/put the wires back wrong or you got the wrong plugs. if the guy at the parts store talked you into buying the more expensive platinum/or splitfire/or high performance plug. that could be your problem. I used to work as a mechanic in a dealer garage. YOU SHOULD NEVER USE ANY OTHER PLUG BESIDES THE ONE THAT CAME AS ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT IN YOUR CAR WHEN IT WAS NEW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! In your case with a pontiac I beleive that would be A/C Delco/ or A/C or Autolite. If you used the proper plugs then you need to find an diagram of the proper firing order for your car/engine. you could ask at the parts store/ look online, or get a chiltons manual.

Changed the spark plugs and wires, now my engine makes a knocking sound. Why?

you may have the firing order wrong. best practice is to replace one at a time so not to get wires crossed with the wrong spark plug. your local parts store or the dealership can provide you with a print out of the firing order

Rattle in front end of my 2000 528i need a manual to see what part number to order

That makes no sense. If you know what is wrong and needs to be replaced, go to the dealer or auto part store and buy the necessary parts.
