SOURCE: peugeot 407, 2.0 litre diesel, 05,loss of power/air surge heard

I am not familiar with the 407 but I would think it is a HDi, if so what you describe is an air leak from a pipe from the pressure side of the turbo, I have had this on a Saab, in that case there was an over pressure switch under the dash and the pipe fell off. Look at the top of the engine, on the inlet side there will be a pipe from the inlet trunking or manifold, it should (maybe with a tee piece in there) go through the bulkhead

Hi. I have a peugeot 407 2.2 petrol. A lot of oil is coming into the coolant system. What could b wrong?

two issues can bring into the coolant system 1.if the car has gone through serious overheating, the cylinder gasket wil be damaged nd it will cause engine oil to mix with water
2.If its transmission oil it means that the tranmission oil coolant is faulty

Where is the oil sump plug on a peugeot 407 hdi?

under the engine, it scares me that you want to know this if you cant find the sump plug. You realise this engine needs a low ash diesel specific oil when you do an oil change right?
