if you look underneath the vehicle on drivers side in the area beneath drivers you with see a plastic rectangular sort of shaped box this is evap canister and vent valve is there in this area.

There is air escaping from the gas tank. Often a problem with the gas
cap, try tightening the cap, reset the code and see if it comes back
on. Essentially it is testing for cracks in the tank.
Also remember just because there was a condition that activated the sensor does not mean it still exists. Have the codes reset. If it comes back it may be a bad seal on the gas cap. But just incase keep an eye out for possible leaks.
Auto Zone can read codes they may also be able to reset them. If not try disconnecting the battery for 10 minutes to see if that will reset the codes

p0449 is a EVAP code here is something to check had a few of these inspect the wiring harness coming out of the right rear floor pan area at connector The harness is located in front of the EVAP canister, and will usually show signs of wear. Make sure that you inspect all the wiring carefully and make all necessary repairs

The vent solenoid valve has been redesigned to correct the problem you are having. I would recommend purchasing the dealer component.
I am not aware of any aftermarket parts suppliers.
