Start with smaller problems and check the fuel pressure regulator, the mass air flow sensor for these vehicles is pretty pricy. Is the check engine light on? If so, head to your nearest auto zone and have them check for trouble codes. If the check engine light isn't on, its not likely your mass air flow sensor

Try changing the TPS (Throttle Position Sensor). This has a lot of influence on the idle. Other than that, look for a broken or split vacuum hose.

Testimonial: "Thanks Bryan...Silly question...is that the same as what some are calling an Idle Air Control valve?"

If you have no vacuum leaks, changed the MAS and still have issues, about all that's left is the fuel injectors, pressure regulator, or fuel pump. The logical course is to check the pressure at the regulator. If it is correct, it would then be an injector issue. If pressure is not correct, then the fuel pump or regulator are bad. Regulators are not expensive to change. Fuel pumps typically more difficult. If you have not one so, you could try injector cleaner... But if you find the pressure is good to the injector rail, then the likely problem is the injectors themselves.
