sounds l;ike you have a skinned wire somewhere you need to find wire and repair or replace it is touching frame somewhere and grounding system out

That joint & where wires separate, would be a good spot to use a clamp on amp meter, if you have, or know someone who has one, then you could get reading on each one, and zero in on one(s) with most draw.

heyyyyaaa.i have a 89 firebird t/a ..niceee but have a problem[ the module on the firewall that controls your headlights to raise up n down doesn't work..headlites come on..but manually raise n lower the lites bc i drive it at nite n day ..lol..all the time now..chevy place is asking 300.00 for it.i paid enough for the car as is..looking for anyone for help bc i give you 150 for that module]..its size..flat with two connectors(rghtside)(leftside) about 1 or two thick n abt4/5 inches tall on the drivers side firewall..call me anytime 4436530761 bc im gtn tired manually working the headlights..joe

Timing chain setting for 89 Firebird


Yes, there are two timing marks, one on the crank gear, and one on the cam gear. The crank gear mark needs to be at the top, and the cam gear mark needs to be at the bottom (lined up w. one another).

Continuing Problem With 89 Pontiac FIrebird Alternator.


if your blowing fuses constantly for one becaful as this can cause a fire and you have some thing grounding out badly.i would start to slowly follow wires and look for bad fuesable links and loose wires.broken,craked so on and so forth.
