Hi heavyb B, we want to help you with your question, but we need more information from you. Can you please add details in the comment box?
do you know what a oil dipstick is ?
Can you check the dipstick and see if there is too much oil in the engine ?
ou may be able to drain all the oil out into a container and then try correctly filling it up again.

I had a colleague I worked with over fill his engine with oil and he had to get a mechanic to fix the problem .

White smoke is condensation from a buildup of water from within the exhaust system - if it was blue smoke then it is burning oil ... let car sit for a few minutes and take the dipstick out - wipe it clean - then re-insert dipstick - take it back out and check level against gauge at bottom of dipstick if you think you may have overfilled the oil

White smoke coming from exhaust, burns oil? Intermittently on start. tried change oil and water coolant. per mechanic.

white smoke more usually anti-freeze than oil which creates black smoke. however unburned gas can also appear white, and there may be a vacuum line connection to the transmission which, if corrupted can even put transmission fluid into the exhaust. i think i would want a dealer service department diagnosis on this. if someone suggested changing fluids as a remedy i think i would avoid letting him put a wrench to the vehicle. a dealer may be more expensive up front but they have a better overall record as to getting the right problem the first time.

White smoke coming out of my exhaust pipe, when start car and putting oil in every day ?

White smoke out of your exhaust pipe is the result of oil being burn during the combustion in your engine. This is caused by wear and tear of the cylinder walls and wear on piston rings. Oil is getting in and burning with the air/fuel mix.

How much oil are you adding every day? And what level is the oil dipstick showing usually? Sometimes overfilling the engine with to much oil can cause this.

Hello, I have a 2001 ford mustang gt. At times when I first start it up some white smoke is coming out of both exhaust pipes. I took it to my mechanic and he said it it probably oil getting in the...

white smoke is coolant leaking into the combustion chamber

blue-ish smoke is oil in the combustion chamber

black smoke is excessive fuel (running rich)

If it is white smoke, pull the oil dipstick and check to make sure your not getting coolant in your oil.
If thats okay check the compression on each cylinder to make sure your head gasket isn't leaking.

if your car is burning oil, you may need to replace your PCV valve(about $5).
As far as oil additives, try RESTORE

White smoke coming out exhaust

well if it is white smoke and smells a little fishy, that is anti-freeze burning up so your head gasket mostlikely needs to be replace. but if it is a blueish white smoke that is oil being burn and that mean that you need to change your oil. if you have been changing you oil normally and it is giving you that then that means your pistion rings are worren. if you don't want to replace them you could put a heavier oil in like if normally you use 10w-30 you could put in 20w-50 in and that should help. worren pistion rings allow excess oil to get into the pistion chamber and that is why it burns it up, This should also be noticed by you oil level dropping faster then normal too.
