1994 olds 98 3800 engine won't ideal after warmed up.Hold petal to floor start motor, engine runs up and down by it's self with out moving acc. pedal. could this be a TPS?

May be the Idle air Control Valve (IAC) . Suggest you do the search for both the TPS and IAC. There's a wealth of info on how to test, clean replace the sensors on the 3.8 engine.

Why does my break pedal leak air?

You have a bad seal in your break booster unit,, just behind your master break cylinder is a big roung doughnut looking thing, this unit works off vacume from the engine, it helps you push down on the break peddle so its not so tuff to stop! well on that booster unit there is a seal that keeps the unit from loosing vacume past the rod leading into your break peddle, sounds like this seal is leaking vacume .. you can replace this unit your self if you want to tackle it, its going to be some work to replace and you should probley have the manual on this truck to do the work.
Hope this helps! Good Luck!

I Had Ford explorer 2003 when i take stop engine shuts off any help?

I have seen many of these die out due to a broken or cracked vacum hose. Look under the hood and listen for a whistling or hi vacum noise. You can also take carb cleaner and spray around vacum hose and pcv valve and intake. If the motor revs up or stalls out when you do this then you definitl have a vacum leak. Find and replace.

If I am wrong about the vacum hose I woulds inspect idle air control motor, throttle position sensor, (both canbe cleaned as a temporary fix) or worst case may be a fuel pump.

Fan is okay on heater but no warm air coming out.

It sounds like the valve may be stuck or broken that provides heat to the core. First check your water/fluid level in your radiator. If that is full then you want to look for a valve that is occassionally vacum operatedon one of the two lines, about 1" in diameter, that run from teh radiator core to the Firewall. normally these are on teh Passenger side. Look at this valve and see if it is vacum operated or manually operated by a cable. If it is cable operated make sure the cable is actually working, if it is vacum operated make sure you can open and close it by hand and that you have vacum on the line. If vacum is present and you can operate it by hand then the valve itself is faulty. Same if you can't operate it by hand. If there is no vacum you have a vacum problem and most likely need to trace teh vacum line back to it's source and or replace it. The Haynes repair manual for your vehicle will be able to assist you further and provide pictures and diagrams of teh system to follow.

1999 pontiac grand prix gtp won't start

well from what it sounds like is that it is your fuel injectors try going to a full service garage and have them clean the fuel injectors if you cant get it there go to auto zone and pick up a can of sea foam and do it your self thru a vacum line such as the brake booster there is a vacum line that comes out of that and goes straight to your cylinder that will help you there its recomended once a year or every 15000 miles good luck hope it works for you

I have 86 chevette with a 1.6l engine. it had a problem of low idle came home in a snow storm now it revs way too high. checked the timing it seems to be okay, but as soon as you reconnect the vacum hoses...

these were famous for pcv valve hose collapsing! """"not to say """"this is the problem but i would look very close at that not leaking cracked and collapsed and closes self off when running good luck
