Hi, go on ebay under parts for 97 maxima, when the parts come up go to starters and towards the bottom of the ad you can find out what years fit your car. Its a little work if you never go to parts on ebay but you will be glad for that job and future jobs you do. Also you can just try to goggle the question and they will send you to plenty of info on your car, also don't be afraid to call the places in the ads that sell parts, you will see they are like mcdonalds today big business, okay bud, good luck! Frankie!

Will my car a (97 nissan maxima)run hot wen the camshaft position sensor or maf sensor is bad

No that would not affect temperature in any significant way. the engine in most cases just won't run or will be hard starting.

97 maxima clicks but wont start

The clicking sound comes from the starter solenoid which is located down on the starter itself. This means a couple of things might be wrong so lets just go through the process.First it just might be you left something on in the car and the battery is flat. Charge the battery up for a few hours and check to see if it will start. If not you may have a bad starter and this may need replacing. If it starts you need to find out why the battery went flat in the first place.Hopefully it was something silly like an interior light left on(which happens to all of us at some time or another) If not you are going to have to take the car in and have the alternator and battery checked out.If this has happened out of the blue I'm betting on a drained battery.Good luck

Would it be worth to fix a 95 nissan maxima with a cracked head gasket and 97 thousand miles on it

That depends completely on you. It's going to be $400-600 at most shops, but a Nissan of that generation has another 100,000 miles left easily. I'd do it. If you can do it yourself it's even better, but whether you keep it or fix it for sale, based on my experience with Nissan, it'd be a no-brainer. I'd fix it.
