Is this what you have? The top picture is 2v. I looked at wiring diagram for your instrument cluster temp gage, saw one sensor, one wire connector, wire color red with a white tracer. Take connector loose, key on, use a digital multimeter, check for voltage on the wire. If no voltage, something wrong with wiring circuit or the instrument cluster. In my opinion.
