SOURCE: 2001 dodge grand caravan stalls

Glad too hear your making progress, sounds like your dealing with a reasonable shop too. For future reference, take notes when your vehicle acts up. The more information you cn give your technician the easier it is to be fixed. Good luck, let me know how you make out.

SOURCE: no dash board lights

It should be a large black plastic box near the battery--the lid pops off and all parts are function identified on the underside of the lid.

SOURCE: 1998 dodge caravan eatx relay is clicking. Vehicle

It sounds like you are using an after market scanner. You will need to take it to a dealoror service garage that uses either a snap-on scanner or dealorship scanner, so the perimeters can be looked at to see what is on/off to determine what device is not getting a reference voltage. It sounds like a connector, but without a good scanner to look at the individual componets, you will only be guessing.

SOURCE: 2003 dodge caravan won't start

My 2003 dodge caravan would not start after driving about 1/2 hour. I stopped for coffee and when got back in to start it started I switched gears and it stalled. I tried to start again switched gears then it started but only for 2 sec. No clicking, no cranking sound just would not start but battery functions were great. Spent 2 days with a mechanic who could not resolve so sent to Dodge. After a day of putting wires back and checking out the problem they said it was the computer. Said that it was bad and could be replaced at no charge due to malfunction. Yes, it worked fine afterwards no more problems. They also said that some of the computers are found to be defective like this one so I hope this helps you in the right choice to have the dealer check it out if you are unable to get a computer reading and there is no obvious short in the system. Free sounded very good but as you know there is no such thing as really free as they got me for other things $350 worth. ouch!

Have a 01 dodge caravan se 3.3 there is no power going to the eatx transmission relay van is in limp mode tryed to use test light to get the relay to open notting any help thanks

On the drivers side of the van in the front of the drivers side wheel and behind the front bumper is a module and wiring you should check.pull slightly on every wire and you should find broken /corroded wires that need a repair.
Next location for trouble is under the fuse box in the engine compartment.

2002 dodge transmission stuck in limp mode

Well you either have a shorted component or a shorted wiring harness. Buy a factory wiring diagram booklet and follow the circuit, start disconnecting components in the system until the short goes away. If everything that the fuse powers is disconnected and the fuse still blows then you have a shorted wiring harness, look for areas where there is allot of movement or heat from the engine exhaust. You can try this site for a wiring diagram, it may have one. http://bbbind.com/free_tsb.html

Asd relay's keep clicking on and off even with the key in the off position.

I just ran into this problem today. Wife was driving home from work when the dash went crazy then it just died and wouldn't even turn over. I got there and unhooked the batt to try to reset the computer when I hooked the batt back up the asd relay started to click rapidly, and the keys were in my pocket. Started to look around at the wiring I found that the ground strap that goes from the belt side of the motor to the frame broke. Rigged it back together and viola drove her home without a hitch. I replaced with a new one and all those electrical gremlins we've been having with this van are gone. It even runs without a studder now. Angers me that it was something that easy.

THERE MUST BE SOME FAULT CODES STORED IN TCM..WHEN A FAULT OCCURS,THE TCM SHUTS THE POWER FEED OFF TO THE SHIFT SOLENOIDS IN THE SOLENOID PACK SO ALL YOU HAVE IS SECOND GEAR(LIMP MODE)..IS YOUR SPEEDOMETER WORKING?IF NOT IT MAY BE THE OUTPUT SPEED SENSOR IS BAD..YOU SHOULD GET TCM SCANNED FOR FAULT CODES..I HOPE THIS HELPS
