Question about Cars & Trucks

Open Question

Hi, am in Ireland and have a Espresso machine EC0310.bk. It was turned on with steamer valve left on. Steamer did not work and has not worked subsequently and water is leaking from inlet pipe.

What can I do or where can I go locally for a repair? Thanks, Gerry

SOURCE: 1997 Intrepid,valve cover leaking

It is not complicated especially if you have the small engine with the small valve covers. The overhead cam engines that look like they take up all the space under the hood are harder. I have some of both. See which engine you have. It also should not take a repair shop very long to change them. Hope this helps you, Rick

SOURCE: water pump leaking at inlet pipe

When leaking is on going the best thing is to change it along with the gasket and add new Hi-temp silicone but is kind of a big job in some cars requiers to go on the timing belt/chain area...I'll recomend you to get a service manual depending on the year I might be able to get one which will bring all electrical and mechanical about the vehicle if not check with your local autoparts store...Nothing else is recomended to try....But I am not to familiar with your car ... Good luck .

How to open steamer trunk lock. Have key, but it does not turn the lock inside. Any suggestions please?

Try squirting some lubricant into the key hole, it could be that it has some rust and is stuck. Put a wire in and see if you can move things after lubrication.

What is the best and cheapest way to remove tint???

Rent a steamer. We use these at work. It takes the tint and the glue off at once. If u don't do this and remove the tint the glue stays on the windows and is very hard to get off

Where is the fuse located for cirrus vapo 02 steamer

There is a tiny reset buttom is located on the bottom next to the water jar. Try that first. It is usually green on our unit but I have seen it red before but possibly from another steamer.

I am wiring a trailer with electric brakes. I need a diagram of my 2005 dodge dakota 7-way trailer plug, so I can figure out how to wire the trailer. Thank you.

This is for a 2003, but trailer wiring is typically standard. Only the AUX and center pin on occasion are wired for different functions:
Center: Back-up Lamps (VT/BK)
1-o'clock: Battery (RD/TN)
3-o'clock: Stop/Right Turn (BK/PK)
5-o'clock: Electric Brake (LB)
7-o'clock: Ground (BK)
9-o'clock: Stop/Left Turn (DG/RD)
11-o'clock: Running Lights (BK/OR)

Broken internal fan

You have a bad blower motor resistor.
Look under the dash on the passenger side right behind the glove box you will see the blower motor and just to the left of it you will see a four wire connector with the following wire colors BK/OG,BK/BL,BK/YE,and BK/WH. It will be held in by 2 screws.
