SOURCE: I have a 1988 Nissan

A faulty slave or clutch master will not allow the clutch to disengage. It will not cause the clutch to slip. Your clutch is worn out.

SOURCE: Gear oil for nissan civilian bus 2002 model?

Charles; This is from the first link below.Nissan has the same problem with 75W-90 oil, but their manual clearly states 75W-80 for 6 speed transmissions and 75W-85 for 5 speed transmissions. It does not specify "non sulfur/phosphorous" oil, instead referring to "Genuine Nissan Oil" (which does not contain those additives).

This is a great resource for the Nissan Civilian. The fuse Box Diagram is halfway down on the right. Owner manuals as well.

There is more on them here

and finally some nice images. They make a great Motor Home. We had a guy here a while back who was living in one for a while and then drove it part way across Australia to take it home from his father's home.

I want to no what each fuse is for on 1990 nissan civilian bus

Are you looking for a particular fuse? The fuse box lid should have a diagram on it showing what each fuse is for using small icons. These icons are usually the same for any vehicle and any manufacturer.

Nissan Civilian bus Td42. Start it up turn

check the wiring on the new lights you have fitted. if there was no problem before then the lights are the fault. there maybe a failure in the lighting wiring on the new lights. shorting out the electrics and cutting the engine out.

I have a 1988 Nissan Civilian bus and the clutch is slipping intermittently- could it be the slave cylinder?

Hi

Yes it could be, you might want to bleed it through before going any further with the diagnosis as often when the tempreture drops this can cause clotting of the fluid and air in the system. I would do that first to be sure or at least rule that out.
