All the junk/ scale that was in the radiator is now blocking up your heater core. Take the hoses off and blow the heater core out in the reverse direction the water flows .

I have a 1999 jeep grand cheroke my heater core is leaking I try stop leak it doesn't work any other option instead replace my heatercore??

I would just have the heater core replaced. One common theme with all repairs that are temporary, is ... well, "temporary" can mean "all of three seconds". All the stop leak gunk and whatnot will typically block your heater core up, making you replace it anyway if you want heat. Or you could take the heater core out of the loop, get an adaptor and plumb the heater lines together.

My 1999 Nav stopped heating and cooling. Coolant/Anti-freeze is at proper temperature. Temperature gauge is fine so it does not appear to be a thermostat problem. The fan blows just fine. The front heat...

Check that the two hoses of the heater core at the firewall are getting hot. If both are not hot, then the heater core is plugged up. Try to flush in this case to free up sediment. If that doesn't work, maybe a new heater core is required, assuming that the blend door is operating correctly, and diverting hot air to the defrost or front vents.

Location of heater water control valve for 1999 Chevrolet Silverado 5.3 liter 2 wheel drive P.U.

The right side hose coming from heater core runs into a connector. There is a hose parallel to this connector. At the end is what your looking for. If your wanting to replace this cause your heater doesnt work id recommend flushing your heater core first. My heat didnt work at all flushed it yesturday and works like a charm.

1999 Taurus-NO HEAT-replaced thermostat,flushed heater core,still NO HEAT,ANY SUGGESTIONS?

Sounds like the problem has to be the valve is not opening and thus not allowing the hot coolant to enter the heater coil. Manualy open the valve (engine firewall) and see if heat is present. If this works check your cable from the dash switch as it isn't working the valve properly and needs replacing.

1999 chevy silverado the heater doesn't put out heat. the engine temp comes up to 190 degrees and the fan works but no heat

Check the valve on the upper heater hose and make sure it moves,if it does then you need to have the heater core flushed. You can do it your self by removeing the heater core hoses from the heater core and runnin water through it with a garden hose but a rad shop can do a better job.If you choose to do it yourself pick up a bottle of rad cleaner first and put it in the rad a few days before you flush it.

The heater still won't work after I changed the thermostat on my

Get a female garden hose adapter from the local hardware store. Disconnect the heater hose from behind the fan pulley and attach the hose connection. Disconnect the other heater hose behind the alternator, aim it towards the ground and flush water through the heater core. This worked on my truck.

Flushed my 99 saturns heater several times. Heater will work for a month or less and stops again. It has gunky stuff in it every time. What is causing this and what can I do to fix my heater?

Keep flushing till all the gunk is gone, and change your brand of antifreeze, and check the Water you are mixing it with, may have a lot of minerals or whatever
