Google this: "How to ID a chevy small block V8"

My chevy small block V-8, has an engine ID of T0429HCR. it is a 327, can you tell me what horsepower version it it? Thanks!

Well, that number is not on my list.
T stands for the Tonawanda plant
0429 means the build date was April 29
HC would be a 1965 327 full size car 275 hp
HR would be a 1965 327 Vette 300 hp
HCR could be something built after 1971 but I can't find it on that list either.
The casting number might help.

Whats the difference between a 3.1 engine with code M and a 3.1 engine with code T Chevy Lumina

The prefix portion of the ID code tells you the assembly plant code, M is Gm Of Mexico T is Tonawanda. The difference is the plant it was built in.

Change plugs and wire and engine will not acclerate. This is a built 350 short block chevy with pro charger.

350 Chevy engine in what? 1990 Corvette? Who built it, did you?

Sounds as though you have plug wires wrong.
Firing order is 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2

Distributor Ignition System:
Distributor rotates Clockwise. (Rotor)
Find Number 1 tower on distributor cap, go Clockwise with Firing Order.

Distributorless Ignition System:
VIEWING the engine from the Front of the car.

Spark plug wire connections along the back, starting from Left side going to Right side;
2-3-7-4

Spark plug wire connection towards the Front of the engine;
6-1-5-8

(To guess I would say you have 5 and 7 wires switched)

Left side cylinder order is 1-3-5-7, going from front to back.
Drivers side is Left side.
Right side cylinder order is 2-4-6-8, going from front to back.

Chevy tracker 4 cyl 4wd 2003

Most major auto part chain stores have a loaner code scanner (they require you to leave your ID while you use the tool in their parking lot). There is a connector under the dash near on the drivers side that accepts the reader....check the codes and Google them for repair info or post them back here.

I am looking for a 5.3 liter jasper motor breakdown of

Jasper engines are rebuilt by that company and are exactly the same as the engine made by the manufacturer. (ford is ford, chevy is chevy etc.) Therefore if you have a chevy engine built by jasper, then it is exactly the same as a chevy unless it was built to other non-factory specs (stroker crank, different compression pistons or performance cam) Without the original "sheet" on this, the only way to tell what's in there is by taking it apart and measuring it.

Cool car

Hey fastboyz, the car in the pic is a replica of a conceptual car I built 20 years ago based on the 34 deuce from "american graffitti" for a fellow by the name of Dan Hayden (from parts unknown :) clandestine street racing was very much an underground sport back then as you may well know, Back then the car was sold ready for paint, it featured a titanium/aluminum frame along with series ll frame connectors,and 4 wheel disc brakes, a 540 cid chevy (cast block) and dialed in at an aspirated 1100 hp backed up by a semi-automatic 3spd and strange rigged quick change rear end ( 4:10 - 5:12) it was a rocket to say the least and a lot of fun, it took 16 months to build and an investment of $60,000.00 back then, when I bought the car it was a shell I had an apple crate for a seat and chained a 283cid and 2 spd powerglide to the frame I would cruise the country roads drinkin beer.I originally traded an old honda 504cc motorcycle for the deuce if you can imagine,sure wish I had it now :) take care Paul
until next time,Mike
