If your car has a four cylinder engine, it has either four each or eight each of intake and exhaust valves. They are located in the cylinder head, are actuated by the camshaft(s). If you think you need to replace some valves, please get with a qualified mechanic. The nature of your question indicates you would not be able to do this yourself.

My car toyota corolla ve 1998 has misfire code engine light on and cylinder #2 low compression, how to fix it

Use a cylinder leak down test. obviously a blown head gasket or valve intake or exhaust, just dont throw a cylinder head on it, especially #2. Why because the cause is a partial EGR system. When the system gets plugged the temperature of the cylinder head reaches it maximum. There it causes and advance and precombust on that cylinder head and BAM it goes either you have a hole in the block, or hole in the piston or kinder yet a burnt exhaust or burn intake. Heres the fix remove the cylinder head there you can inspect for damaged intake or exhaust valves clean it and look closely you will see crack, Then look at the piston carefully make sure there is not pits(small holes)

I need to know where the egr valve is located

This is a loop back system between your exhaust manifold and the underside of your filter.

The EGR valve is located between the inlet (exhaust manifold) and the outlet (intake manifold).

About 8-12" below the air filter....toward the passenger side.

EGR carbon built up can be clean.

Check the soft membrane on the EGR valve and see is it crack/torn. If it's in good shape then you may reuse it.

The professional use a vacuum hand tool to determine the travel of the EGR.

There are carbon built up inside the EGR air passage tube too,

Make sure you give both a good cleaning.

The EGR base gasket MUST BE REPLACE!

Order one before you start the job.

Please post more info on the comment window.

Smoke in exhaust

You have a bad PCV valve, i don't have the time right now to help you locate it but any parts store will help you locate it. THe valve goes into the intake and has a check valve in it. THe valve is stuck open sucking oil into the intake.
