1993 Chevy Cheyenne 2500, is not getting enough fuel to start. Fuel pump is good and new filter. Any suggestions

I would say,one on the fuel pump intake in the fuel tank and one on the fuel line under the drivers seat area mounted on the frame.

Does it try to start if you spray starting fluid into the throttle body ?
Are you getting power and ground pulse to the injectors ?

9 times out of ten I have fixed this exact same problem with a fuel pressure regulator. the other times it was the bcm. if it is the bcm you can get it from local parts store then get it flashed by dealer.

if it runs and dies.i would check fuel pressure and make sure its not getting air in the fuel sound like air in fuel

clean fuel tank and change fuel filter

start with cleaning the injectors, check your secondary fuel filter, and vaccum lines

Listen at the tank filler area while someone turns the key on (don't try to start), You should hear the pump run for a short time, then shut off. If it keeps running, then the pump is likely worn out. If the pump runs at all, the fuse and relay are ok. You can check fuel line pressure (rent a test kit) at the test port (looks like a tire valve) on the fuel rail just above the injectors. You should read about 45 PSI--anything much lower, suspect the pump or pressure regulator.

replace your MAP sensor(manifold absolute pressure) the map sensor is the computer for your fuel pressure regulator telling how much pressure. Unless your tahoe runs like **** going up hill than it inevitably your fuel pump
