Where is the cam position sensor


the censor is in the front of the motor.just follow the 2wires that come out of the timeing belt cover.they are labled the crank censor should say (csp) you will need too remove the top part of your timeing belt cover.very easy only 3 bolts holding it in place.doing mine rite now.the censor was 129 at autozone.good luck

Plenty of battery power,engine turns,will not start


the best thing to do is have the cpu read for any fult codes it could be some thing like the crank shaft censor playing up or the cam shaft censor but the problem is in the cpu

Crank sensor is right behind your harmonic balancer (3 or 4 pin connector). You cam sensor is in your distributor under your rotor...

Does a dodge ram 1500 have a cam or crank censor?


The 3.9L 5.2L and 5.9L engine use the distributor assembly as your cam sensor . The crank sensor is on right rear attached to engine block (behind cylinder head)

Cranks but wont turn over


you know. i took it to a mechanic and actually.... The timing belt cut the Crank Shaft Censor... So it was the crank shaft censor again. The wires were routed wrong from the first mechanic that "fixed" the car.
