1994 ford escort wagon lx 4cyl standard won't idle, dies at stops. Had idle throttle sensor and throttle sensor replaced. Doesn't help even though when coded it said that was the problem. Help!

Check Your Idle speed Solenoid could be carbon build up its usually close to your intake manifold and throttle body

clutch is worn and needs to be replaced. I think it is self adjusting.

Even though you already flushed it I will bet the heater core has build up in it. My escort did that and i had to hook a garden hose direct to the heater core and flush it with dawn dish soap both directions several times untill all the slimy old antifreeze inside it finally broke loose and came out. Then it worked great

Turn up your idle a bit, check for vaccum leaks.

It is on the throttle body, has a round body and a hexagonel mounting flange with two bolts, should have a black plugs on it.

Yes it could be, take the solenoid off and clean it, does the idle improve? Hope this helps, let me know.

That sounds like a bad clutch

this is usually a bent throttle stop caused by people flicking the foot off the accelerator pedal , just bend it back to origional position , hope this helps
