My 2000 S10 V6 secondary air injection pump stays on after the engine is turned off. Sometimes it runs for hours which drains the battery. The pump and relay have been replaced but the pump is still...

It would have to be a short somewhere in the wiring.
The pump gets power from the A.I.R. relay. The pump circuit is from a 30amp fuse that gets power from a 175amp main battery circuit.
But the relay magnet is powered by a 10amp fuse from the ignition switch, and it is grounded by the computer to turn the relay on.
Do I understand you to say pulling the relay or the 30amp AIR fuse will not kill the pump ?

Ecm fuse location 2001 chevy astro van

The power for the data link connector is from a 25amp fuse Number 7 in the IP fuse box. As long as the check engine light is on the computer has power.
The main computer power is from two ECM fuses in the box near the battery.
The fuse locations should be in the back of your owners manual.

Hello: Check the under hood fuse block, on the inside of the cover there should be a table showing the fuse location. The one for the ALDL connector will be the cigar lighter fuse.

Look in your owner manual for the 3 fuse box locations. It is similar to our Lincoln LS.

From LS owner manual.

There is a 175 amp mega fuse in the wire harness near the luggage compartment fuse box. In circuit with Red/Blue wire.

Front power distribution box

The front power distribution box is

located in the engine compartment.

The power distribution box contains

high-current fuses that protect your

vehicle's main electrical systems
from overloads.
-----------------------------------------

Passenger compartment fuse panel

The fuse panel is located on the right hand side kick panel. Remove the

panel cover to access the fuses.

To remove a fuse use the fuse puller tool provided on the fuse panel

cover.

Trying to find the fuel pump FUSE.

There is no fuse specifically dedicated to the fuel pump on this year and model of Suburban. This Suburban is equipped with dual tanks and as such has two relay switches, primary and secondary, both of which are located at the main fuse box in the engine bay, that power up the respective fuel pumps.

The closest fuse (15A) controlling either of these relays also powers up the main control module (located beside and below the main fuse box). So, if one needs to disconnect the fuel pumps from functioning, then the only effective method is to disconnect the fuel pump relays.

2000 Blazer. No power to the orange wire for either front seat. Which fuse or relay controls the frt power seats? Its not listed on the fuse box covers and I do not have an owners manual.

The orange wire is the power wire for both seats. It gets its power from the power seat circuit braker (20 amp) located at the body relay block. It is located behind left side of dash near fuse block. Remove circuit braker and check for power in body relay cavity that you pulled the relay out of if power is on one side change circuit braker and if no power on either side then you have a bad main fuse near battery or under hood in main fuse block. CLICK HERE for a copy of your owners manual.

Fuse Panel Locations start on page 171

The passenger compartment fuse panel is located on the driver's side under the instrument panel.

The power distribution box is located on the driver's side of the engine compartment.
