SOURCE: 1993 Ford Probe needs motor mounts

is the model with the V6 mazda motor, if so it can be a bit difficult if you have little mechanical experience, but it is doable without removing the motor or transmission. we would allow 3 hours to complete the whole job.

SOURCE: Toyota 4 cyl motor - oil sludge

Go on ebay and search for your exact replacement motor by a company in North Hollywood, Ca. Japanese direct Motors. I bought one for my mom's camry and all I had to do was swap over the oil pump configuration and while i had it out i change the timing belt and all the accessary belts. The car runs like a new one now and the engine cost me $400 + 200 to ship directly to my shop labor was about 20 hours 120 in parts for a total $1900. Parts and labor. If i would have cut the labor by doing the work myself. It would have been a savings about $1200.00. I don't know if this is what you wanted in a suggestion but, if you are like me I like to get things done as quickly as possible for a reasonable price. These engines come with a one year warranty becuase they are teated for quality before they are sold and i kind of like the idea of not having to break in the rings and bearings. Also if something goes wrong with what i put together i have to eat the cost of my mistakes. If these engines fail the company will replace it provided you did everything right.

SOURCE: 2002 Toyota Prius needs new transmission

Looking at the age of the vehicle - I would not invest $5000 in it.

Look in your local business pages for second-hand parts dealers, and get a quote for small garages to do the work of replacing it.

Chances are you will find a low-milage transmission for $250, and pay around $200 to have it installed - so for $450 you're good to go again.
If this was a younger vehicle, then yes I would go through dealerships to keep the logbook perfect; But at this age it's only 3 years off it's designed lifetime, and 10 year old vehicles are very low priced.

SOURCE: replace the engine motor mounts and the transmission mount. Would like to know how to do it. Thanks.

Check the frame mounts too. You will have to loosen the bolts and jack the motor up with a jack and a woodblock.

Why does my 2012 Mini Countryman base model manual transmission , run at 3500 rpm when I hit 80mph? And is there a way to lower the rpm ?

That seems normal. Smaller tires (shorter) than designed will increase rpm, and larger tires (taller) tires will lower rpm. If there stock diameter now then your fine. The Rev limiter will protect the motor if needed.

2011 mini cooper countryman, starts, runs, drives but has low power.(50 mph ) max Due for service in 1200 miles.

The only way to correctly diagnose what is going on is to have a diagnostic scan done, sounds like the pcm has gone into 'limp home' mode which restricts power to prevent damage to the powertrain

GEARBOX FAULT MESSAGE

The transmission model in your car is a 5R55N which is manufactured by the Ford motor company. There are currently 3 different modles of the 5R55,including also the W and S models. The Pressure Control Solenoid is a part of,the solenoid block. The solenoid block is mounted just inside the transmission pan,and can be replaced with a new one to see if it fixes the problem. If the trans ultimately needs to be rebuilt,a new solenoid block would be installed on one of my rebuilds anyways. If the solenoid block doesn't fix the problem, the trans would either have to be removed and rebuilt, replaced with a remanufactured unit,or replaced with a salvage yard, good used unit.Good luck.
