Left end of the dash , open the drivers door , plastic panel , pull . Fuse box behind there . Wiper fuse 25 amp . Probably not the fuse , wiper switch or the wiper motor assembly . If the fuse is blown , short to ground in the circuity . Fuse's don't blow for the heck of it .
The fuses are located just inside the door frame on the driver side. Open the door and look at the side of the dash. That cover comes off and there is the fuse panel.
The problem is in the ignition cylinder lock. The body control module (BCM) is what controls the theft deterrent system on the 2000 Pontiac Sunfire. It can be reprogrammed, but is complex to do.
Here are some pictures for you. http://www.autofuseboxdiagram.com/4232-2000-pontiac-sunfire-2-2-fuse-box-diagram/
I have a 2001 sunfire. The fuse box is on the drivers side on the panel between the dash and the door. There should be a door and the guide should be on the back of the door.
those have common problems with the cluster panel but before you replace it check under dash for the light that lights up your feet when you enter vehicle they are easily broke and can cause shorts
Solution is in the wiring harness....these cars are noted for this as it runs under the rad exposing it to the elements and corrosion. You will need a dealer with the proper scanner to read the code & find the wire.
No relay . Two fuse's . CLSTR 10 amp & BCM/CLU 10 amp . Both are located in the instrument panel fuse box . Maybe we can save you some trouble , what is the problem your have ? Gauges not working ?
There will be a fuse for you dash lights and they are just light bulbs in the back. Is it just your odometer light that went out or the whole dash cluster? In all likeliness it's probably just the bulb that burned out.
