That may be the vacuum lines for the heater a/c system. They may have come loose from the control or the servo

Testimonial: "The car dies when I go from 30mph to stop. And will start right back up and go has lots of power. Will that vacuum line make it big?"

Make it big? A vacuum leak can cause the air fuel mixture to be off.

Pcv vacuum lines on 05 cadillac cts 3.6l

There is two or three sizes of vacuum line in common use. Some is synthetic rubber and some is neoprene and some is polyurethane.
Mostly it tends to be replaced with whatever is available and pressing fuel hose into service is not unusual, though sometimes a hose with a specially moulded end or branch is used or a double-diameter type which must be obtained as a spare part from the dealer.

Vacuum line, hose or pipe is generally unreinforced with a fairly thick wall and a common internal bore of 2.5mm, 3.0mm or 4.0mm though other sizes exist, mainly in the Imperial size range.
The bore size can be checked with a drill bit or machine screw...

There are two types of vacuum spigots the hose is fitted to. One is straight and the hose size should be selected so it stretches only between 0.25 and 0.5 mm. The other spigot has a swaged end and the hose should be chosen that closely matches the shank diameter.

I don't have a shop manual for the 93 Deville; however, the sucking sound under the dash could be a vacuum leak. Check for the place where the pink hose should be plugged onto by looking at same vintage care in used car lot or you pull it.

My 98 honda accord lx is making a vacuum noise only in park an the rpms go up its like a sucking and releasing sound any help????

Start checking all of your vacuum lines. Could be one that is cracked and not completely broken off. While the car is running listen under the hood and if you can't locate which one it is try wiggling each one.

Why does my 2001 Ford Escort run rough and often die at an idle but seems fine oncethe RPMs are up?

There are two likely possibilities. One is a leaking vacuum line. Inspect the vacuum hoses closely. Listen for any tell-tale hissing sound. Oftentimes the culprit is the hose going from the PCV valve to the intake manifold. It is susceptible to cracking. While you're at it, check the condition of the PCV valve.

The other possibility is a faulty Idle Air Control (IDAC) valve. If the IDAC is not opening sufficiently, the engine will idle rough or die at idle. Try removing the IDAC entirely, so the air intake is open. If the engine idles ok with the IDAC removed, replace it with a new IDAC.

If neither one of these possibilities checks out, you will need further trouble-shooting.

Car dies when you slow for stop signs but runs fine as long as you give it gas

Sounds like a vacuum leak. If it only tries to die when the brakes are applied its probably a vacuum leak. Try testing it in park at home. Its much safer to touble shoot brake problems at home away from traffic. Look for loose hoses. Weird sucking sounds can be a good indicator too. Have someone else push the brake pedal while you look. If you can't see anything obvious get it to a mechanic asap. Before someone gets hurt.
