Engine shaking when turn on my van

Misfiring engine, blown head gasket, bad motor mounts, and number of things it could be. Try listing the year, make, model, size motor. If it's a 1996 or newer model, plug an OBD II code reader into the ECU and see what engine codes are being thrown.

My mercury sable 2002 motor Ustyle idals bad code p0316,301,303 come up changed spark plugs and wires still showing same codes what should i check now

PO301 & PO 303 are cylinder misfire in the cyclinders
indicated by the codes last number #1 & #3

Spark Plugs get replaced every 3 years or so & have
nothing to do with resolving any misfire issues, unless
they were in the motor for 80,000 miles & worn out

Spark Plug wire easily last 12 to 15 years or more &
usually only fail because they are mishanded & too often

You problem IF the codes are correct & they are not all the
time,is a bad ignition module or individual coil if that is
what you have

What motor is interchangeable with 1999 cheverlot s10

what ever motor is in it . If you have a 4.3 w motor then thats is the one that you need to use . if you have a 4.3 x motor or 2.2 motor . Now if your asking if you can put a differnt year motor in you truck yes a lot of years fit your truck as long as you keep the same vin code on the motor (x or w . ect ) i am not sure what your vin code engine number is the 8th digit in the vin ,that tells you what engine is in the truck . now if you are changing from a 4 cylinder to a v6 you will need to change all the wiring harness and the computer system .The also make v8 converison kits too .but to do this kind of engine swap comes with a great price tag attached to it
