This is most often caused by a defective turn signal switch, all the circuits run thru the switch. More than likely the contacts are just worn out.

Hi, have a 62 Buick skylark 2 door convertable with a paint code no# FB 4509 and unde NN1 paint company in australia cannot match this code to get me the paint required. Can you help with this please.

Hello there Annie,

Well I think I know WHY nobody can match the paint. The code you have presented is the body assembly number. The 'FB' refers to the body being build in Flint Michigan, then I believe the numbers afterwards are the assembly number.

Regardless of all that, there should be a body plate about the size of a credit card (I take it this is where you came up with the number to begin with).

Just below where it says 'Body' it should say 'Paint'. Just to the right of that is the actual paint code.

AND, here's the paint codes for 1962;

Hope this helps.

Have a 1997 Buick Skylark Has tail lights but no Brake, turn or hazard lights don't hear the flashers.

Hi,
If you check the brake switch first, pull connecter off and see if you have 12 volts on one side of the plug. if you have power use a small cotter pin and jump the connector the brake light should come on with the 3rd brake light also. If that doesn't work more than likely its your turn signal switch that is the culprit.

The running lights and turn signals don't work on my 1995 buick Skylark. the headlights and taillights work it i turn them on though. i checked fuses but they seem to be fine

Hello and welcome to FixYa!

As a first course of action, please check the bulbs for it can be blown. If the bulbs are good then it can be just a blown fuse for the tail light.

Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa! Have a good one

The brake lights work but the turn signals don't!! Have checked the fuses and bulbs, but not finding the problem

Fuses and bulbs OK, but wires? Additionally I suggest keep in mind that turn signals work with FLASHER devices (two independent) on 1993 Buick Skylark..

Application: Turn signal
Flasher is located: Front seating area, driver side, under dash, driver side of steering column, mounted on support bracket

Application: Hazard flasher
Flasher is located: Front seating area, driver side, under dash, above kick panel, mounted in top of convenience panel

Hope this helps (remember to rate and comment this answer).

I have a 1992 Buick skylark and the turn signals do not work it's the fuse i know that but witch one?

Your best bet if the fuses are not labeled on the fuse box edges would be to review your owners manual for a diagrahm...if no manual...salvage yard or on auto manuals is your best bet...Hope this helps...(If both side turn signals are lighting up but not flashing, you need to replace the flasher unit...under the drivers side dash)
