2005 nissan altima 3.5 compressor has voltage clutch will not engage

I would bypass the low cycling switch and service the ac first,or use direct power and ground to inspect the clutch, just make sure your compressor is not locked up first.

Can i bypass my 2005 nissan altima ac compressor with a shorter serpentine belt if so what siz do i need and is the diagram different for the factory placement of tbe belt

Why do this? If your compressor is frozen you can simply disconnect the wire going to the AC clutch and it will never engage and you have nothing to worry about. Ok, so you lug around a useless 15 pound weight but at least you do not have to go through all of the hassle in getting a new belt to bypass the AC unit.

I have a 2005 Nissan Altima I need to bypass the ad compressor I have a Nissan Altima and I am trying to bypass the AC compressor until I can get the money to put a new one on there is...

-Why you need to by pass the AC...? You mean you want to replace the belt with out going to the AC motor...? Even the AC motor is not running you still be able to use same belt number with out any problem. Unless the AC motor is frozen.
-If so. Make sure the AC is not on it's way and make sure you can
adjust the new belt to it tension. Just use a rope to wrap around the pulley to the accessory you need to run and make a circle then take to auto part store to match the length.

Good Luck

Is there a way to bypass my ac compressor on my 2000 nissan altima

Not really.
If the car was built without ac there might be an idler pulley used in place of the compressor.
If the compressor has failed, you could get a used one and not have it charged with freon.

1998 Nissan Altima -Trying to check and see if the clutch on the compressor is or isn't kicking on. On my GMC the pressure switch on the Accumulator is 2 wire and easy to bypass. The Nissan has 4 wires,...

Using a power probe or a test light, you have to check to see if you have power running to the clutch first. If yes, then the wire to the clutch is usually grounded to the compressor itself, so you find it by working backwards from the ground. Hope this helps.
