Legacy 2004. Wagon. With sunroof Cars been converted to LPG. Now. My spare. Is takin up most the room in the estate part. Of car. I intend to attach. Spare on roof. And it will invoke drilling. But do not want to damage. Electrics wires. Can. You help with a print out of where. The. Wiring is. And is not. Please. Many. Thanks. Paul.

the trunk is your back lid.
there should be a switch where you insert your key to open it
turn it until it locks
and check the light to see if is still flashing

I would strongly suspect the Power Sunroof Module as being intermittently faulty. The switch is part of the overhead console module, check whether its working correctly. also check the motor functions correctly, if it's given the correct command from the module.

Make sure that the microswitches in the rear trunk are all depressed. There is one where the parcel shelf (the cover that covers the view of the trunk from the outside) sits on the left that is usually the problem make sure that it is sitting on the microswitch (pull down on the closest side to you so it pivots forward and sits on the microswitch. Then make sure that the latch on the left side (drivers side) of the rear that allows easier access to the trunk switches the microswitch there. now close the trunk and try the conv top. the parcel shelf, the rear access latch and i think the trunk switches need to be depressed for the top to work. I know at least the first two.
