My 91 Honda Accord EX wagon has a broken lug on front driver side. How do i fix it, & will it be ok in the meantime with the three lug nuts on tight?

It is not recommended to drive it like that. It's not too bad to replace but it depends on your level of mechanical skill, You need to remove the brake caliper and disc and then you can simply knock the remains of the broken stud out with a hammer and punch, To fit the new one insert the stud and then put a large nut over the thread, then fit the lug nut and tighten it to pull the stud into the hub, then simply remove the lug nut and put it all back together.

Lug nut thread broke off? how do i replace?

Never done this before, but here is some stuff I found. I hope it helps. Don't shortchange yourself by trying to save a few bucks at the expense of safety. I hope that this helps. Yu could just buy a used wheel from a wricking yard or online. There are some great aftermarket cmpanies that make great wheels. I got one for a Volvo and a Pontica G-6 and they were under $200.00. Much less than the dealer. I hope this helps.

I need to replace broken lugnuts

How to Replace Wheel Lug Nuts
(DIY Complexity: Easy / Time: 1.5 hours)

Parts:
1. Lug Nut

Tools:
1. Floor Jack
2. Jack Stand Set
3. Ball Peen Hammer
4. Tire Iron
5. Socket Set

Steps:
Step 1 Secure the vehicle on a solid level surface to ensure that it does not roll or lean when raised.
o Tip: Safety Tip:Always wear safety glasses when working on your vehicle. Wear other personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary, for example latex gloves or safety shoes.

Step 2 Break the lug nuts loose but do not remove. Using a floor jack, raise up the front of the vehicle.
o Tip: Using an aftermarket floor jack, instead of the original equipment (OE) jack, can make the job easier and safer. Verify the condition of the floor jack before use.

Step 3 Secure the vehicle with jack stands on both sides for safety before starting any work. Do not rely on the jack to hold the vehicle up while working.
o Tip: The pinch welds or the frame rails are the two best locations for vehicle support.

Step 4 Remove the lugs nuts. Inspect the threads on the wheel studs.

Step 5 Install the new lug nuts by hand making sure they thread properly.

Step 6 Tighten each lug nut in a star pattern. Lower the vehicle to the ground and torque the lug nuts to the manufacturer’s specifications.
o Tip: Refer to the owner's manual for the exact location on the vehicle.

Step 7 Road test the vehicle to verify lug nut repair.

I really hope help with this (remember comment and rated this post).

I have sheared a front wheel lug on my 1995 landcruiser Amazon. Friends had a puncture and didn,t tighten wheel nuts properly on spare. How do I replace.

The lug nuts are press fitted in the rotor. You should be able to hit the bolt with a hammer(or hammer and punch if the bolt is sheered flush with the rotor) and it should come out.

I broke a lug nut and I need to know how to get off the back plate to get to lug nut

If you mean the stud is broken where the lug nuts screws in to, all you need is a 5 pound hammer and hammer the stud till it breaks free from the wheel hub. With the new stud, just place back in place and use the nut to pull it back in to a press fit to the hub. Good luck and should be a 10 min fix.

The trunk handle broke on a lexus rx 300 and can't open

fairly common, you will have to crawl into the back and remove the plastic trim cover on the lower half of hatch. once you pull off cover you will see latch assy. and be able to pull lever manually.
