1996 crysler cirrus lx BLACK/ORANGE loose wire under my hood, think posed plug into IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS, where is the IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS located? where do i plug this wire into at?

There are lots of loose wires in every newer car, the reason is that the automakers only built one wiring harness and that means for every optional piece of equipment, not all have the add ons so hence loose connectors and wires that go nowhere..

How to fix an engine misfiring

this could be a lot of things. look under the hood for a loose plug wire. Look under the hood at night with the engine running to see if the spark plug wires are emitting sparks or are glowing. If so, do not touch the wires or you'll get a severe shock. Replace all the wires if they are bad. If the plug wires are okay, check for a loose wire or loose vacuum hose.

No power to trailer turn signals and brake lights. everything else works.

make sure to check the wiring on the trailer and to make sure that there is no damage or loose wireson the hook ups themselves. the wres could have come loose on your truck where they hook into the hook up for the trailer wiring. if any wire has come loose or the ground wire for the lights have come off, they will not work.

The compass and temperature display on the rearview mirror of my 2003 gmc yukon blinks on and off like there is a loose wire. I'm trying to figure out which wire is loose or if there is another fix I can...

This may be a loose connection or a bad mirror which contains the display, follow the wir to mirror, you will see where it plugs into the mirror, remove the connector and check the connector for a loose wire to connect and then plug it back in and see it that makes a diffrence if not then i would say to replace the mirror.the wiring to mirror comes out from under the roof liner and if there was no repairs done ib that area then the wiring will be okay, it very uncommon for a wiring problem in that part of the wiring unless you had work done in that area, for example a windsheild replacement. hope this is helpful, good luck.

Yoy can jump the truck off, but wile you are

It is probably a loose ground wire. If it only does it while hitting bump, then there is a loose wire somewhere. It may be loose fuse but probably loose wire or solder joint going to dash control board

Keep blowning fuses, dont have fuse box cover to tell me which one it is?

The problem might be that you might have a short somewhere. Check in the engine bay for a loose wire which might be touching the engine or metal surface. Check behind the dash take the dash covers off and check for loose wiring. Check under the truck for loose wiring exposed wire touching the frame. I had the same problem the fuse blew for the brake light constantly till a friend of mine suggested to check for a loose wire which I did find. The wire for the a/c in the engine compartment came appart from the plug and it was touching the engine and it shorted out the electrical parts. I taped it up and no more blown fuses.
