SOURCE: 2002 Toyota Solara Convertible seat belts not retracting

The front seatblet retractor springs have weakened. Unfortunatly, there are no "user serviceable parts" on them. They would have to be replaced. How many miles is on it? If you have low mileage, the Toyota Customer Experience Center may provide you some assistance, as the belt replacements are quite expensive. I'd call the CEC and explain your dilemma. What tires fit a Toyota Solara 2002

Standard size is 205/65R15.
Optional size is 205/60R16.
205/55R16 may not be close enough but a tire store should be able to tell you for sure. You would have to have the optional 16in wheels already on the car.

Have had a cupping issue on the inside rear tires since I bought my 2004 Solara SLE new. Dealer says I have not rotated the tires frequently. That just delays the real issue. I am told struts and...

The dealer is right.Struts and bushings can have an effect on tires.Struts keep the tires in contact with the road, when the struts wear out,the tires start to bounce, but you may not notice it.I would start by having the struts checked and replace if need be.

I think the front-right CV joint may be going out on my 2003 Solara SLE (it makes a funny noise when I turn the car while I am driving, but not from a complete stop). What would be the least expensive...

If it is the CV joint (and it does sound like it is), the least expensive option will be to replace the CV joint. This is really the only solution available, but the popping or funny noises can also indicate other worn parts such as struts, shocks, tire rod ends, and even the rack and pinion in your steering system. I would check all of this before going through the aggravation of replacing the CV joint.
