Question about 2002 Honda Accord
I have a 2003 Honda Accord and the airbag light stays on while I'm driving. Does this mean that the airbag won't work if I have an accident and they deploy?
If you bought your car used
there is a large likelyhood you have had a deploy in this car b4 and they just did a re pack and well it's letting go and should probably be inspected by a pro rather than a home user spend some time and get a quote on replacement rather have your life or your kids life than cash trust me

Your vehicle computer has detected a problem with the airbag (either the airbag controller or the airbag itself) and it needs to be checkd by your vehicle dealer. There is a chance that it has been deactivated until looked at by a dealer.

Tips for a great answer:
When the airbag light (SRS) is on or blinks it means a fault has occurred in the system and the airbag diagnostic monitor has disabled the system, the most common problem that turns the light on is a break in the connection to the steering wheel mounted airbag, this is due to a rotating ribbon contact that breaks under the steering wheel that connects the airbag to the wiring harness and the diagnostic monitor, the part is called the clock spring contact, a coiled up ribbon electrical contact that turns with the steering wheel while maintaining a mechanical connection to the airbag mounted on the steering wheel, to replace this part you must disarm the airbag system and remove the steering wheel, this requires a special steering wheel puller tool and that you disarm the airbag system before you start the work, to do this disconnect the battery negative cable for 1/2 hour prior.
