Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Vaccum diagram 2003 chevy impala

Try billionautoparts.com. It's a parts buying site, but they have pretty complete exploded diagrams that show all parts of different systems. You don't have to buy anything, just see if the diagrams help. Then, if you are missing any parts, you'll know what to buy. I don't recommend buying from billion, unless you want brand-authentic parts, as they are suppliers for dealers and everything is straight retail. But, you will have the correct part number to use when you buy from somewhere cheaper.

Tip

Free Diagrams.

this is a tip for all those who are looking for free diagrams, free diagrams are very hard to get... allthough most of us have access to diagrams, copywright laws prevent us from posting the diagram for free. alot of people ask for picture diagrams of what they are working on but most of the time there is not even a diagram in the vehicle service manual- your best bet with diagrams is to actually go to the dealership and ask them to print you out 1... they will most likely help u with this at no charge at all. the parts catalog that they use usually has an "exploded veiw" that shows what parts hook to the part your looking for. i also hear that autozone has something on ther website thats kinda like a service manual. so basicaly what i'm saying is there is no "free" manual or diagrams out there. hope this can save you a little time, and good luck.

WIRING DIAGRAM 1999 MERCURY COUGAR COUPE

Hello, Well I see you have waited 4 days for help. The old site should be reachable at 1.Fixya.com.R. I do not know if you can get the same Diagram help on this new site, but Fixya use to have Diagrams for free on the old site.

You can try to do a Web search and narrow the search by typing whether you want a Vacuum diagram, Electrical diagram or Brakeline diagram. Also you will find that most Ford and Mercury Dealers have very helpful Parts counter guys who will print a diagram from any picture they can pull up on their Service computers.

The Parts guys usually like to show off their skills and some can even tell you what frequently goes wrong by the parts they sell and the parts their own mechanics install frequently. So you may get diagnostic help with your Diagram by using them.

Starte removal

Most starter motors are only held in by 2 bolts. Where the starter mates to the engine there is a gear cog coming from the starter motor which mates up to another large gear cog which in turn rotates the engine when starting. (you can't see this cog arrangement until the starter is removed).

See here:
http://www.samarins.com/glossary/starter.html
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Starter_motor
http://www.aa1car.com/library/1999/cm119948.htm

It might be that the starter is stuck a little bit either in the gear mating or the surface between the starter motor and the engine.. A light tap on the starter with a small harmer or mallet might help shift it. Don't bash the life out the starter motor and try not to hit the starter solenoid which will be the smaller cylindrical bit on the side of the starter motor. NOTE: Don't forget to disconnect your positive battery terminal and on the starter motor also remove the 12 volt cable ( a big thick one held on by a nut) and the smaller cable which comes from your starter relay, before trying to remove the starter motor.
Good luck,
Steve
